YOu ever notice that the bhoys that come through our team are pleasant, gentle, approachable, kind, help a granny cross the road like young men? Probably due to the open arms of the Celtic culture

    Meanwhile...

Over at inbred ipox, we are the people, Britain for the British, they have Charlie 'voice of a 60 year old man wi a red nose that drinks in the Georgic (I used to work there wOOOO) in Shawlands' Adam, John 'Scotland's rOOney' Fleck, Alan 'do you know who I am' Hutton, Barry 'I actually wore a rangers tracky off duty in town lol' Ferguson.

Is McGeouch willing to sit around for years to get a regular place in the team though?

Our midfield is probably the strongest its been in years and considering we're in a stable financial position you'd expect he'll further strengthen if we win the league at the end of the season and then for a crack at the CL next year.

McGeady & Forrest are the only 2 players to make it at Celtic this decade for me so it's certainly no mean feat.

I hope we get to see some of Dylan this afternoon. Perhaps if we're winning by a good few goals in the second half, give him a chance to get on again and show what he can do :50:

If he's good enough, Lennon will come to depend on him for backup and we won't have to spend money on that area. If he's not good enough, to be brutally frank, who cares? You know what I mean? So it's a problem that solves itself in many ways.

I remember clearly the first time Maloney was brought on in a game that we hadn't yet won. McGeough is working his way towards that watershed moment now, whether he makes it or not nobody knows.

He looks talented but I have seen a whole lot of very skilled ball players in our reserves who for some reason have not made it. Rememeber Bjarnison? He looked immense in the game or two he played for us but never made it. Hopefully he could be our new Naka or something but I wouldnt take it for granted.

In the real world if your only chance of making good money without leaving your family behind was Rangers and it might be your big break and Celtic dont come for you then most people would sign for Rangers. Ask Neil McCann who was a die in the wool tim. he probably still is. he was just a professional doing a job that would give him security for life. I still deeply regret we didnt sign him. That was total madness. Sometimes I think we are blind to the best players on our own doorstep or are unwilling to pay what turn out to be bargain prices (Fletcher etc). I am also sure we could have got Hartley at his peak if we had been willing to pay his true value. He was a fabulous player at one time and IMO would have been worth spunking 3 million on three years before we actually did sign him.

This lad will have a part to play in the run in, no way should he go out on loan.

If by some quirky twist of fate he doesn't get a proper chance before the end of the season then maybe send him out on loan for 6 months for some experience.

But that wont happen, the lad is going to be a star.
