Sadly this is true, probably watch the last hour of deadline day tick down with the usual last minute attempts to sign players.

No option to launch the ball into the box ever. Pass to the side, pass to the side. Ambrose has one pass in him. I'm amazed a pro player can't put a decent ball into the box.

Once again when the ball is coming in t=from the left nobody attacks the front post.

Theere is always someone on the back post, which would suggest the ball should be coming in from the right. But we're determined to play the entire game down the left hand side.

It makes it very, very predictable.

Deila has to take some of the blame though for persisting with a formation that's not suited to the current players.

The defense isn't too different from last season yet got torn to pieces far too often by Dundee.

The subs didn't have a beneficial impact on the game, taking Berget off before half-time, why not just wait? Making all three subs by 70th minute or some * - lucky no one got injured.

In saying that, the players aren't up to standard either and we all know about the boards antics. All in all we need to improve everything from today or we wont win anything.

I always assumed McPake was a Hun.

 

I'll begin to judge Deila properly after he gets his signings blended into the side. I think it's a case of the players we currently have available just lacking the intelligence/understanding to play how he wants. A high pressing game with good movement, yet Commons stands with his hands by his side on the one spot etc. If he's insisting on a front three and we get Scepovic in (don't know how likely that is at the minute) then it's surely going to look something like Wakaso, McGregor, Tonev behind Scepovic? There's more pace and power in that than we've had playing so far.

In the attacking sense I think we could become decent if we get these players fit and playing together (or even signed in Scepovic's case.)

But the * defence man, it's looked atrocious so far in almost every game. Izaguirre always caught out of position, a lot of Dundee's attacks came from his side where he was nowhere to be seen. Denayer is still young and made a few mistakes, O'Connell played well on the whole which proves something is wrong at the moment, and Ambrose is just a loony.
