he may be greedy, but on his day he is pure class. We arent exactly overflowing with class players, so i guess we have to take this deal.

Not interested in this greedy clown ! Had his chance and * it up ! * off ! Think we could do better anyway, with somebody who wants to play and isn't thinking pound signs first ! Same goes for Campbell .

I think people are been harsh on Bullard, i remember watching him play against Celtic down at Fulham in a friendly a few seasons back and he run the show, and i thought i would love him at Celtic but there is no chance! Also he is a big personality someting that is now lacking after big Arthur's departure! as regarding the money side of it Bullard didnt make it to the top level until wigan reached the premier league in 2004, and he prob has 3 years left in the game at most, so who can blame him for trying too av finacial security for him and his family after his playing days have ended

What i want to know is who will drop out of midfield, Brown played well against Man U and unless Ledley is going out left to let Bullard go centre with McGeady moving away, then we still have Ki, Juarez and Crosas, i think were going to have too many, if ledley moves to the left it might mean were buying a decent striker with the money we make on McGeady... hopefully :54:

Think if Bullard signs it may be a change back to the old 3-5-2. Maloney wide left Bullard Brown and Ledley in centre with Juarez wide right. Looks good to me. Hail Hail

Lenn wouldnt play full backs in a 3 5 2, well no1 would.

With Mulgrew Juarez Cha and (if we keep) Hinkel... all solid players No chance of 3 at the back, not got the Centre backs for it

I'd have to call into question the logic of spending £30,000 a week on another midfielder, who won't be when we desperatley need a centre half and a striker. That said, Bullard is a quality player and you can't have too many quality players.

Wage demands aside, it's a massive gamble bringing this guy in as he has consistent injury problems and is undoubtedly past his peak.

You cant have 2 full backs in a 3 man defence. It would be suicidal.

If we were to play 3-5-2, i'd see something along the lines of:

    Zaluska

    Rogne... Loovens... Hooiveld

    Du-Ri-Cha..........................................Mulgrew

    Bullard ...Juarez ....Ledley

    Fortune........ Murphy

Although i'd prefer to play the most common amongst the big European teams recently. 4-2-3-1 :50:

precisely! i think its going to be a 4 2 3 1 formation for most of the season, attacking heavily from midfield.:celt_2:
