Celtic midfielder Donati, who has lost his place in the side, is hoping a Serie A club will come in for him in the summer.
Donati, 26, is struggling to hold down a first-team spot after his £3million switch from AC Milan last summer.
And now after just one season he wants to quit Scotland. Donati is under contract until 2011, but is homesick for Italian style football.
Donati said: "I would be a hypocrite if I said I am not thinking about Italy.
"I miss our style of football. And if offers come in for me from Serie A, it would only be fair for me to consider them.
"I am ruling nothing out. We will have to wait and see what happens. "But for now I am happy and honoured to wear the Celtic shirt."
I'm glad he said the end sentence, but he obviously i thinking about a move.

wouldnt blame him putting * barry robson in ahead of him after he made an impressive 0 starts for celtic against barcelona.

but this barca game was the main reason, WGS should sell donati to * right off if that is his attitude

Or is it because hes not from england, scotland or ireland? And is a foreign international and thus a mercenary?
IMO he has done more than scott brown. Scott Brown does fancy runs and then loses possession and yellow cards. Donati also has scored more goals than Brown in a lot less appearances.

He was awful in that match besides the wonder header goal that valdes played wrong. It was a beauty goal but it was just a goal. Hes not a striker hes a midfielder he has more responsibilities than scoring goals. -

Im sure Ill find footage of him making passes or tackles on youtube.. err not. Or how about his flick ons on corner kicks. Thats a very tough art and he has set up 3 goals this season by doing that. -

Robson's the better footballer though, as you'll see in the coming weeks. Wouldn't bother me if he left tbh as long as we at least recouped his fee, we could be doing with someone thats able to play at spl pace and doesn't need a years transitional period.

We are not dealing in absolutes. No matter how much you want to distort that to make me look like this anti-scottish thug.
Im just tired of people on here when it comes to a phobia of foreign internationals who arent superstars. (exceptions are the superstars) If they are average, they are * when scottish players are average they are held up as the scottish maldini, etc.
Also to add... I dont give a * about internationals.. It has nothing to do about being jealous over scottish players. lol! i love that video. maybe nothing was a bit harsh but i still dont rate him, skippy's only been here half a season but he's settled. its got nothing to do with him being italian and i dont think he's a mercenary he's just not very good, brooon may lose posession but he has drive and i think he can dominate a game in a way donati cant
