i blame the team as a whole for the awful home performances in december against dundee united, ICT and kilmarnock. i also blame them for being awful against inverness last week

samaras' penalty miss didn't help but it didn't cost us the title

we lost title cause we 4 * strikers, lets look them 4 them,
sammy 2 league goals all season
murphy 2 league goals all season
stokes 15 leagues goals all season
hooper 17 league goals all season,
not one them has passed 20 goal mark this season, very poor
look rangers miller was banging them in and now jelavic is, only one our strikers scored in past 4 important end off season games, hooper has done nothing par goal against dundee utd, stokes hasnt scored, rangers front 2 leading by example and scoring important goals at mom, we need important goals against rangers and inverness and killie at weekend and our * strikers no where be seen, the defence has best record in league so wouldnt fault them for few bad games, we should spend big money on striker in summer like rangers done, the lack goals from 4 front men have been our downfall. only for goals from midfield we be out title race already, would anyone be disappointed if hooper or stokes or murphy or sammy all left club in summer, i wouldnt be, hooper is best finisher but his all round game not so good,

    Rubbish.

We have the best defensive record in the SPL and the defence looked much better once Loovens was dropped and Majstorovic was paired with Rogne/Mulgrew.

My thoughts exactly. Wasn't Samaras' fault that the team underperformed v ICT.

While I was... ahem... trolling on a certain other forum (rangers media scum) I noticed that when we had one hand on the trophy the scum were picking out the points that they felt had cost them through the season. Lost points, the departure of turncoat Kenny etc, etc... So I think you have to look to only the most recent down fall and not that first point dropped back in October or whatever and that's the ICT game where we bottled it.

But truth be told, I think if we ask ourselves honestly did we deserve Sammy? No, it's all his fault of course ;)

wasnt happy with him taking it but it was a great save to be fair from *! its a long season! and we can look at the dropped points agains ict, dunsee utd at home when we should have won! we can look at our commitment at hamilton in the 1-1 draw and also the night we shat it at ict last week! we can also pont the finger at all the * from refs too if you want? bottom line is wasnt sammy that * it for us! it was the team. you win/draw and lose as a team and that shouldnt change.

We could have afforded the defeat at Inverness if Samaras had done his job and put that penalty away. Letting the biggest bottle merchant at the club take the most important penalty of the whole season was a terrible decision and it's one we're now living to regret.

I think that's unfair, the players bottled it against ICT, Sammy cannot be the scapegoat for everything however much you may dislike him.

To blame one person over 38 games is very harsh wether you like him or not ,,its a team effort and they never got over the line ,Samaras is'nt a 1st pick so if your going to blame anyone you should be looking at some of the chances that have went a begging by others in the team over the season .

Guys, I'm not saying we've lost the league solely because of Samaras missing that penalty.

But there can be no debate over the fact that was a HUGE moment in the title race. We're playing our biggest rivals at their own ground and we are gifted the chance to beat them late on and go 5 points clear with a game in hand. It doesn't get much bigger than that. Just look at what has happened to Rangers ever since that moment, they're a team re-born. Their form has picked up and that penalty save, I am totally convinced, gave them the belief that they could still win this league.

Samaras has a heart the size of a pea and is in my opinion a bottler. Putting a man like him into that situation at Ibrox was madness. I knew the big oaf would miss it as soon as I saw him going to pick the ball up.

Sammys pish, but his is just one of many mistakes by our manager and certain players in their first season together,so they are all to blame, good signs are there too, lenny will improve them this summer, he has shown he can spot a player, hopefully remove the deadwood too

    Hahaha

Yeh the reason we lost the league is because scapegoat Sammy missed a penalty. He is also solely guilty for losing against Inverness and every other game where we have lost points.

    Get real.

Samaras hit that penalty brilliantly, McGregor was just on fire that day.
