Daft as it sounds troops I'd prefer them in the UEFA Cup. Not being in Europe after Christmas would, IMO, allow them to challenge us more for the championship.

Agreed. If they get knocked out completely they will have the upper hand in terms of Domesticated games, unless we strengthen well in January, around the time of our last 16 games. If they get huckled into the UEFA then they will have something else to focus on which would aid us. -

well if it put more shame on rangers, help lower their finances and opened a bigger gap between us and them i'd be happy.
There doing worse damage to scotland being in europe singing their songs, giving scotland a bad name.Fined twice for sectarian chanting!

Rangers qualifying and getting to go abroad(or even down to England) would not be that fantastic for Scottish football. Again, they would bring themselves, and us down. They would go and do their usual. They would maybe get looked at by UEFA(doubtful) but the main outcome would be us getting associated with them.
Can you imagine if they went down to Chelsea?
At a time like this I'd like to think one team in the last 16 is good enough for Scottish Football. -

but i do recon its good if continued it would show there are two good, european quality sides in scotland, providing more competition = better players -
Because then they would probably be banned and possibly on their return their fans might finally see sense and stop their bigotry!
What the * is an 8000 pound fine doing to them everytime they sing sectarian songs! theyll pay that weekly if they have to!
They need to step over the line and finally get some decent punishment!

I know for a fact I heard billy boys being sung in Lyon but it was too low for uefa officials to prob act.
Scotland would be better off without them in my point of view!
