Had to vote no. Not that I think its mission impossible, but Ajer out and our tendancy to concede sloppy goals in Europe makes me think that it's just not gonna be our day. AEK don't look like world beaters but were disciplined and focused at CP.

That was their first competitive game this season? I think they'll be buzzing with the result and take that momentum into the game. Would absolutely love to be proved wrong though! Mon the Hoops!!!

I do, but it might just be blind optimism. Our squad will be stronger next week if we have boyata and dembele back (even on the bench for dembele's sake) and hopefully have gamboa starting to offer pace down the right hand side. The guy that marked rogic out the game yesterday is also out so i believe the big man will have more freedom. Will we concede? most likely, but i think we have a goal or two in us, and this result will hopefully be the kick up the * the board need, whether we win or lose.

Ask me after five minutes in Greece.

If Celtic are taking the game to them, zipping the ball around confidently and certain players aren't hiding, then yes.

If Celtic sit back, struggle to pass the ball five yards to a team-mate, and leave whoever plays up top isolated, then no.

Probably sign an out of contract Dundee goalie, free agent 32 year old player from the Saudi Arabian league and another 19 year old on loan from Man City.

Yes, we are Celtic and this is a special team. We didn't create an awful lot at home, but we had a series of attempts against them in the first leg and dominated the ball from beginning to end. Have faith.

Think it could end up going on away goal to us. 2-2.

Ideally though if say 2-1 Celtic. They'll probably sit back tight and counter again but think we will still manage to get through.

    Rogic and eduard to score.

No but I think if we cancel the game against Hearts and place them all in the galleys of a boat, similar to in Ben-Hur, have them whipped occasionally with Brendan Rodgers on the drum giving it ‘ramming-speed’ - I think that would give each player the needed mental conditioning and motivation to work as a cohesive unit going in to the AEK game. Then and only then will be triumph.

This may have provided some *-* fantizisation for some individuals, although not my intent, each to those own. Good day!

I voted yes... I have the fear but know how well we can play. If we pick the right team I think we will win. Gamboa in for lustig, boyata in for Hendry and Moussa in for maybe Tam. Think we would beat them

    Nope.

Can see this being a typical Celtic away in Europe performance.

Concede a daft goal in the opening 20 minutes & struggle to string more than 3 passes together.

Down to 10 men before half time as well.

The Celtic we all know and love!

1-1 is not an impossible scoreline to over come. We passed up too many chances the other night, but i think we'll be more clinical next time out. Only worry is Hearts and Craig Levein's dirty tactics. Thing that would worry me is an injury here or their. Otherwise i'm not too concerned. These games are always nervy affairs.

I tend to agree. Twice now in the CL group stages with Ronnys squad. Twice humiliated. No significant strengthening. Sounds like Rogers is prepping fans for his departure. Board probably snorted big bonuses. A couple of very young guys in defence where there should be hardened campaigners.

I can see Rogers leaving on the back of this - the man has serious ambition and the attributes to go further - not matched.

Geez, a lot of really positive people on here! I didn't see anything from them to suggest they will batter us in any shape or form. We were the superior team even with 11 vs 11. Im not suggesting its gonna be a cake walk, but have some faith lads. I also think 1-1 suits us far better than having to go over there and defending a slender lead, which never works out well for us. Think back to Boavista also. They sat in and defended the 1-1 and played in to our strengths. I, for one, see a great night for us.

No I don't. We aren't the greatest away from home and to be fair this could've been avoided had the board not been a bunch of penny pinching arseholes. The fact is last year we struggled through against Rosenborg woth no strikers available and a makeshift defence. That same makeshift defence bled goals in Europe. The board have had more than enough time to address that obvious * problem yet tried to "fix" it with a sick note and * Hendry. It is their fault why we are in this position again with a suspect defence that teams can slip goals by. Wednesday night was a cheap goal to giveaway.

We were the better team in the first leg by some considerable margin.

It's a shame one defensive lapse cost us a goal, but it's not the disaster many are making it out to be.

AEK seem a well drilled side - we can break them down though.

    Hail Hail
