We are the better team , middle to front certainly with all the pressure we had if we had Dembele' last night with Edouard game would have been 3-1 us , but it's hard to be confident with 2 rookies at back going over there to defend especially if we score early then it might need a backs to the wall type performance and try hit on the counter.

We didn't play that badly though and on another day we'd have won by a couple of goals. We're more than capable of beating AEK. I've no doubt about that. I think it'll be tough but fs. The mood in here has been depressing af the past few days.

I actually thought they were very comfortable, for the most part.. we needed to come out and do them in the first 30mins.. but they grew in composure and confidence.. and as most on here who knew a bit about them(me not one) were right in how composed and defensively strong they were..

It going to take a massive performance and will need a bit of luck too..

Anything is possible but I don't see it happening. I've seen so many of these ties where the 2nd leg is nothing like the first. I think they've got a bit more than they showed at parkhead and they'll do enough to see it through. If we can dominate the game again though, there's a chance.

We never seems to spend money even when we make the champions league all the millions the last few seasons ,so what's the big deal if we get there or not anyway ? it's always a case of make do and mend , or if we sell a first team player like Armstrong we might be able to bring someone in such as edouard.

 

Moussa and Boyota back be a boost. Gamboa too for running up and down the wings.
