Has the expectation just been ramped up?

The Huns having to put in a new manager now, has definitely changed the landscape, we must be favourites now, which comes with a different pressure..

 

Let's not forget we're still in transition here.

 

Settle, it means nothing. Yes, there may be slight disruptions with them but they're 4 points clear. Let's see what happens in the next few weeks. We are still in transition ourselves. Ange has a chance though but he had a chance before Gerrard left. One game at a time. They have tough away games coming up and we have tough home games. It's all about what happens in these games leading up to the Glasgow derby.

 

Have to see how it plays out but I'd have us favourites..

Had 2 different English boy's saying "yous must be favourites now"..

We had a clearer lead and better team when the the rat left us....and Lennon came in under Kennedy and kept it same as..

They don't have anyone staying to steer the ship. Be a totally different coaching setup throughout and possibly a change of style. They were together for year's as well. It's a nightmare for them and one we must capitalise on..

 

January 2nd has become huge, the winners take the title I think.

Losing a manager and all the backroom staff must make us favourites and the main point for me is how we deal with going from slight underdogs to favourites, it a different pressure and expectation...

I think Ange will be shown less patience if we don't deliver, that's what definitely changed now.

 

Or is the expectation always the same for a Celtic manager, deliver the title.

 

We still can't take things for granted however, his leaving (along with all his backroom staff) will definitely have an effect on them and, hopefully, if we get a few new faces in come January, then the better our chances are of winning back our title.

 

I worded that wrong. It obviously changes things. What I meant was it changes nothing for us. We need to still go out there and win games and we need to strengthen clear areas in the window. They still have the same players. If rumours are to be believed, GVB is a decent manager to come in and take over for them. Either way, that's not our focus.

Have things changed in terms of us now being favourites? I don't think so. We are still 4 points behind. The next 6 weeks will go a long way to seeing what the new landscape is like though. If they start to drop off, teams will punish them and it's up to us to continue to be hot on their heels. The Livingston game was a big blow for us. Granted, it's streets ahead from where we came but if we have aspirations to win the title, we can't allow them any sort of positivity. I do believe if we get ahead, they'll * it and I think we are favourites for the game in January.

Time will tell. I just want to focus on what we do and continuing to improve the team and hopefully the squad in January. It's a big month or so ahead for us.

 

Dont think ange will make the same mistakes next hun game. Admitted himself he got it wrong on the day and now our squad is settling more can see us goojg for the jugular at celtic Park.

Yes, they have no management structure, no backroom team, no sports scientist or analysts they've been gutted and I firmly believe we will now take advantage.

i was 50/50 depending on who we signed in Jan but with what has happened this week i am more 70/30 yes now.
