Well I can only really speak for myself but anyone is welcome here in my opinion. Its good to hear someone else's point of view and interesting to guage different opinions. Nearly all people on here will be fine with you, a bit of light-hearted banter at most. There are other Man Utd fans on here.

I'm pretty sure there was an Aberdeen fan on here not so long ago.

appreciated. Banter or abuse, dont have a problem with that, football is not a sport to talk about if you're thin skinned, particularly my club is loved and hated on equal parts, but both very intensely so Im used to being treated not so well by other fans :84: , but Im getting the idea that its almost an infringement of the forum rules to talk about your club, even if you're in the world football forum. So if a mod can clear out any confussion that'd be fine by me, so I dont get eventually banned for that kind of thing.

In my defence Im not a troublemaker, and I try to see both sides of an argument. Ive seen a lot of football throughout my life and though not so much lately, I used to love the sport, and I know a bit, modesty aside. Im passionate though and I love United, can't pretend I dont but Im not a bad fellow, I think. But yes, I do speak my mind, this always gets me into trouble, and its awful for my stomach :54:

Fair enough mate, I'm not too keen on Man Utd myself but I prefer debate to abuse. I'm sure a mod will be able to clear it up. You love your team, i think every football fan knows what its like to be passionate about their club so most will understand.:50:

    Do you support Celtic poll

Those numbers are really quite good. It's only natural to get interlopers on sites like this. The difficulty with trying it on a Hun site is you have to be able to shrink your brain when posting or you'll be instantly recognised as a secret Tim.

in my eyes, there's nothing wrong with any other fans on this forum, except rangers- unless rangers fans stick to rules, is good for a debate...

i personally have no problem with any other fan, infact i was trying to joing the redcafe earlier today as i wanted to get views on the fc united of manchester of some man united fans,, but it said that you cant use emails with hotmail? :97:

i dont like man u as a team, infact i i have a big dislike for them, but i like the fans:50:

No worries there, Duncan - certainly isn't a closed space.

Speaking personally, I'd like to see more fans of other clubs on here, cos - as you'll know from United forums - sometimes with a crowd of diehards you end up not being able to see the wood for the trees. It gives a fresher perspective to have views from the outside. In fact there's a fair number of United fans on here already, either folk who support Celtic with United as their second team, or vice versa. Some of them include Man U stuff in their sigs, so there's no confusion about their allegiances.

The thing I think might be worth noting is that the thread topics here are fairly strictly tied to the subjects of the various forums - i.e. minimal chat about transfers on the Celtic Chat forum, cos that should be in the Transfer Rumours forum, etc etc. In other words, what club you support yourself doesn't come into it, but if you're posting about M.U, it should be in World Football.

Or if you were posting about Stoke or Blackburn, it would be in Other Sports. :56:

I can clear it, anyone can become a member/post comments as long as they abide by the rules. Comments are welcome not only in the football forums but in other varied topic forums.
You may come across threads where it is stated .. even Support from the other side of town can post.. this is because it is true... if they keep to site rules.

Hope that clears it up... Anyone can post/be a member on TC as long as you obey the rules :50:

True - although it was more rugby or hammer-throwing I had in mind. :56:

Not a fan of the Allardyce school, myself. Although his interviews do put a smile on my face.

( Heh... just realised I was advising about off-topic posts, and here I am getting stuck into Blackburn in the pub forum... need to practice what I preach...)
