Where are the pics or it never happened:icon_mrgreen: -
Nothing more satisfying as learning to do something yourself, and it coming out half decent. -
Cannae afford to get folk to do yer house these days, tradesmen are a rip off. As a result I've learned to do heaps round the house. Replaced all my * plastic sockets and light switches with brushed metal ones, cost a couple of hundred all in.
Fitted a new en suite top to bottom for only 2k, even put in one of they led heated mirrors - which is magic for shaving after a hot shower without wiping the mirror every two seconds.
Replaced all my old crappy doors with solid oak doors, they are miles better.
Done all my own painting and decorating for years, that's one of those things you definitely get better at as time goes on. I wish I could afford to get somebody to do all my work but sally not.
She's needing the kitchen painted within the next month now as well, working two full time jobs man!l -

I'd love to be good at DIY but I am usually * at it or when I start it I get frustrated BECAUSE I'm * at it :smiley-laughing002: There's a ton of small jobs needing done in our house, but I think it's laziness more than anything on why I've not done them as yet.
