I don't think it was going over, it was going in I thought, and Schemeichel was at full stretch to tip it over.
It was a wonder save, saved our bacon too as it turned out.:giggle1:

Weirdly enough..I'm gonna disagree with this..Sure..I hear you about the BR TippyTappy School....but I do feel he has adapted a tad...to me a draw away from home is ok

Boys trying to hit it on the volley from a cross. It’s not a sitter. It’s no more a chance than Kuhn’s second half when he cut inside and the boy blocked it.

It wasn’t a wonder save. It was a routine tip over the bar.

Why am I starting to get a horrible feeling we will get stage fright against young boys...and have to go to villa to get a result of some sort. We have past form of throwing gilt edged opportunities away

Have you ever played in goal mate.? I have.
And when you make a save like that at full stretch it is a wonder save.
We can agree to disagree :giggle1:

And we will play so different on sunday. That was Europe ... Sunday will be scotland. So differing types of football always . And we will hammer them

It's not a gimme, Young Boys are not a bad team, or at least they used to be.
I would expect us to beat them at home all the same. Provided we start the right team, and use our substitutes quicker.

For me Kuhn’s when he cut in was the best clear cut chance of the night, I know the defender got a good block but I still feel he should have scored if not rolled it to Kyogo.

The near post volley, the guy was beyond the near post and took a swing at it CCV
Slipped so it gave him space and was a good chance but it wasn’t an out and out sitter.

If you are counting that as a sitter CCV missed one on the rebound at the other end probably easier on a half volley and we got a corner where I am not convinced the guy actually got a touch.

Don’t get me wrong due to a * poor final ball all night we hardly created anything despite getting into a number of good positions.

I don’t need to have played in goals. I played football and understand that the Schmeichel save is a decent save, no more, no less. If that goes in I’m raging saying he should save it. So would 99% of this forum.

3 games in 6 days with 2 away from home, that was a tough ask. I think it shows our improvement under BR that we are disappointed with only taking a point.

Such a weird game tonight. Zagreb looked very beatable and we looked hesitant to really go at them.

Some harsh comments I feel. Was it great? not at all, felt there was some fatigue in the team. Which doesnt come to a surprise 5/6 players flew across the world three weeks ago, since returning we played games every three days. Sometimes in horrendous conditions. Still This isnt the time for fantastic football all the time, its the time we grind out results. And in the run of games we manage to hardly concede goals.

My point! The players are bound to start to feel the run of games.

We just didnt seem able to get any kinda decent tempo or zip into our play at all, seemed all very pedestrian and they got back in shape every time almost before we even got across halfway line. An away point is always good in Europe but definitely a missed opportunity for all 3 imo.

I thought it was like a poor spfl game... Like a poor Celtic Vs a poor Celtic level... Both teams will be happy and unhappy with the result, given both could/should have won it over the game...
