I mean that is just nonsense man. The team has shown over the past months that are far from being bottlers. Do you think we were playing St. Mirren? We were playing the Croatian Champions who are a point behind us. OK decimated with injuries but they played for a draw and got it. Tactically they were very well set up.

 

The problem us we sat up similar to atalanta and were far too pragmatic in our approach were they were content to sit in like an spfl side, had we set up like a league game at home I think we'd have yielded better results, issue is we saw that in the first half and didn't really change it for the 2nd suggesting we were as much content with the point ad they were when I think we should have been going for the kill...


But again how many times have we went away to similar teams in Europe and lost so it's still not a backwards step by any means. Young boys at home is huge and very high pressure now.

 

Do you just accept the * of the past with no ambition to do better? It's okay not beat anyone away from home, no matter how good or bad they actually are? Bizarre mentality

Dinamo pumped Bratislava 4 1 away from home. They also beat Salzburg away from home and drew with Monaco. They are holding their own at probably the same level as ourselves. The idea that we should be sweeping away teams like Dinamo is based on nothing in my opinion.

 

Let’s be honest we probably were. Fans always have an expectation that’s a bit bigger than reality. Nothing wrong with that but some of the comments I’ve seen have been well OTT.

They were there for the taking obviously but were no mugs. Showed that on the counter. We were sloppy and lazy in possession. Not our best best game but far from out worst in Europe away. Pitch didn’t help.

Would’ve been happy with a draw if someone offered it yesterday but after seeing they had a few out today I thought we could’ve and should’ve won.

All in all another point in the bag. Young Boys at home is now massive.

Yes. Slovan are bottom in CL. Dinamo are a good team, and we didn't even try to test them.

Team hasn't looked like they've recovered since the Atalanta and Leipzig games. I know they put in a * of a shift over those two matches but they should be back up to speed by now.

I wonder if there are a few boys carrying niggles since then. Hatate definitely isn't operating at 100%. Kühn seems to have dropped down a few notches as well.

 

We go into Young Boys at home with a chance of qualifying.. got to be happy with that.

 

On the night defensively we were excellent. Going forward it wasn't our night. Lacked urgency and fluency. We have had a lot of games. Dinamo are a good team who are suffering with injuries but who were tactically good and technically sound. We didn't have our best night but some of the commentary on here is laughable.

 

That was awful tonight, so slow and lacking in imagination. We have become far too reliant on Kuhn and if he isn’t doing it no one is.

That was more like last seasons CL performances, passive, scared to make mistakes and create nothing.

That team we were playing were organised but ordinary and we made it easy for them. Some of the crossing into the box and how slow we were to react to second balls around the box. Also how many players do we have that can’t use their weaker foot?

 

Could have qualified tonight if we played with a bit of heart and intent

 

We need to stop being honoured at every point we get.
