I hope we play 4231, this isn’t a game we can afford to lose the midfield battle in so I’m hoping we have someone in alongside mcgregor.

They'll probably focus on the wings and do what Dundee did. Midfield is irrelevant if you can't do anything while in possession.

I really fear the worst. I wasn't confident in the slightest but now having to bring Kenny in to the team along with bringing Trusty (I'd imagine) in from the cold and the potential of Ralston starting makes me even less confident

I think neither of those 3 will start, yet I fully agree with your sentiment. We are going to lose tomorrow. Only Scales is a true fighter out of all the 100% available players, and 1 man won't do the trick.

Tough game but i hope they can get a win. We really need to step up and get behind the players who are FIT and playing for the team.

Show a bit of fight and passion and togetherness then we stand a chance. Turn up and play like we did last weekend and we're *.

Thursday was encouraging, that's all it was. We can't forget the rest of turgid * we've been displaying prior to that. Except we have to do it minus some very key players and the football club that is by far, using the analytics side better than anyone else is. Graz clearly never scouted us properly or were arrogant enough to decide play their own way.

Thursday will have emboldned Rodgers belief in the current formation. Rodgers needs to inject a bit of chaos in to his selection.

    3-5-2:

    Schmeichel

    Tierney
    Scales
    Trusty

    Saraachi
    Donovan

    Bernardo
    Engels
    Nygren

    Yamada
    Kenny.

1 - 2 win tomorrow. Hearts have done well but they've also squeaked wins right at the death. Got to come to an end soon, so no reason it can't be us.

Fully expect a masterclass in cheating from the specially hand picked corrupt officials tomorrow (minus Beaton who'll probably ref us against the huns). Soft fouls for the diets anywhere near our box while the likes of Devlin gets away with murder. It's going to be a toughie and if we win I will celebrate as much as I do when we beat the huns

If we play a back 4 I’d play Ralston. Just for the fight, not for his footballing ability going forward. The first half, particularly the opening 25 mins will be high intensity with their crowd behind them. Take Ralston off after 60, when the game has slowed and we have complete control of the ball and need some finesse going forward.

Expect the diets to fire loads of long throws into our box as they've capitalised from a few of them in previous games in the league and they'll probably know how poor we are at dealing with crosses etc.

Liverpool currently losing 3-1 away to Brentford after a 5-1 win midweek in Europe, their fans thought that that result would have signaled the end of their form slump

Point being that it's a reminder that whilst Thursday was far more positive from a chance creation perspective, still a long way to go before we can be confident of going on a winning run

Sunderland scored from a long throw today at Stamford Bridge, got them back into the game, they cause chaos in the box, Brendan seems too proud to deploy such tactics, wish we'd do them, instead of always playing them short

We should always be looking at the next game being the most important and we should take nothing for granted, that should always be true. Lost that a bit end of last season.
