Currently our club is a mess from top to bottom.

I can’t be bothered to go over the £100m, the managers,or certain players, supposed strengths and weaknesses representing the club this afternoon.

Let’s face it the game was lost long before today.

This defeat started last January with the sale of Kyogo, and definitely increased with Joto’s injury in March and also the way Maeda was treated over the summer.

Let’s not overlook the woeful inadequate recruitment over the summer, which culminated in signings after the CL qualifier, the further sale of Idah and then the board’s subsequent pathetic interactions with the fan base that leaves everything fragmented and damaged.

And finally let’s then sprinkle in Thursday evening with the various injuries which left us painfully short today.

The board had a duty to prepare the squad for this seasons needs, and have endlessly gloated about previous successes.

However, this year its complacency’s, and failings, are obvious for all to see as they attempt to justify the above mentioned cluster * of epic proportions.

All that’s left are reputation's in tatters and endless deflections - while a * club like Hearts, run moderately effectively run away with a title.

Hope today that Desmond slices his golf ball deep into stinging nettles, and gets covered in fox * trying to retrieve it.

Now we can only hope Hearts do their usual and collapse after Christmas like every other time they looked like they could be a threat because when have we ever spent big in January

    Excellent post.

You’ve hit the nail on the head on one aspect. Reputation.

I could take losing the league here and there, could stomach almost any scenario in Europe as I’ve already witnessed every plausible footballing disaster known to man.

As far as reputation is concerned, however, on and off the park, we’re in the gutter, for a plethora of reasons.

Shameful that it's got to this. Hearts weren't even that good, we simply don't have a good enough squad now. Key lessons:

Donovan isn't ready. There's clearly something there and I hope he's able to continue his development, but he's not good enough for what we need right now.

Murray is *. Played a good handful of games now and made bad mistakes in the majority of them. If Rogers doesn't want Trusty replacing CCV then I'd sooner we recall Nawroski or even Welsh rather than keep playing Murray.

Tierney wasn't bad but he's lacking that extra something that made him such a good player before, we should be playing Saracchi for the time being.

McGregor still has something as he showed in the first half but it's concerning that stifling him is all it takes for a team to play through us.

Hatate is done. Gives the ball away far too much trying outlandish things, which is forgivable when plenty of those things come off but they just aren't any more. Tbh should probably have been sold summer of 2024 and definitely in this summer just gone.

Engels is a good player but his mentality is off. Clearly gets a bit stroppy when things aren't going well and it affects his play, I think that's part of why his set pieces were so poor.

Nygren isn't a winger. We need wingers who can run at a man and beat him. Should have buried that chance, his finishing is woeful.

Tonetki is a very good player and didn't do much wrong today, but I can't understand why he didn't go down in the box at the start of the second half. The challenge came in, if he goes down it's a stonewaller. Nothing noble about giving up a penalty in a top of the table clash.

Kenny just isn't good enough. Made some decent enough runs but doesn't get involved in the game enough to offer enough threat. Shin the better option.

Rogers should probably just go now. CCV, CalMac, Hatate, Engels, Forrest, Tierney, even someone starting from a lower level like Ralston, have all regressed under him. You'd expect such a great footballing brain to be able to come up with ways to beat rangers, or to find other ways to win when McGregor is marked out of the game. Starting Kenny and Murray, persisting with Hatate and Nygren and not giving Saracchi a chance any more shows questionable judgement. Frankly the only case for him staying just now is worrying about the men making decisions on his replacement.

Our squad isn't good enough. I no longer buy the idea that we're not great but should still be good enough to win domestically. I don't believe we have the best squad in the league. Lawwell, Desmond and Nicholson are a shower of useless * who should be hounded out of the club ASAP before they do any more damage. We need to do everything in our power to get rid of them and not accept any attempts to placate the fans. Their time is done.

Throw Tisdale in there as well. We might not have a good squad but we do have an expensive one, and if this is what we are getting for our money then the head of recruitment responsible clearly isn't up to the job.

    Rant over.

As good as hearts have been, they've yet to visit

    Celtic Park
    Pittodrie
    Fir Park
    Easter Road

To name but a few. The media acting like they've dismantled good huns and Celtic teams. They've never had a better time to beat us.

You can only beat what's in front of you. And they've done it, bar a draw. It's not their fault we're * the whole season. Currently, they are the very best in Scotland, and today, they've beaten their biggest threat fairly comfortably. Whom do they have to fear?

Agreed mate they have. And yes they have beaten us fairly comfortably in the end, but for how bad we are we could've easily been ahead in that first half having been more of a threat with such a depleted team.

Them hitting a bad spell isn't really a question, it will happen, but can we take advantage of that? well, that is the question.

I’m still quite confident we’ll win the league as Hearts will collapse and Rangers are *, but this isn’t anything like a decent Celtic side, every week it’s a brutal watch.

Are we really comparing the manager of Liverpool and Aberdeen?

We had 2 shots on target today, 2! We controlled the game and had plenty of possession but hearts and every other team are quite happy to let us keep the ball because we don’t know what to do in the final third anymore. They pressed quite high, created more shots and had way more shots on target. They got very lucky with all 3 goals, sure, but they created plenty of opportunities that we couldn’t.

Hearts had a net spend of about £500k and even then they only spent ~£2.5million? That’s all it has taken to topple us this season, it’s quite laughable to see people say we need to spend more of the £80million that’s in the bank. We need to improve our full recruitment department. We’re a club full of dinosaurs and until we fully modernise, we aren’t going to progress. Their left winger who I thought wa pretty good, kyrzidis, was free!

I don’t really understand what Rodger’s is going anymore either, Tounekti getting brought off is crazy but playing Balikwisha? He’s awful. Forrest is not good enough either, we have spent so much money on players that are not even close to good enough. We play such a boring style of football, passing backwards and side to side constantly. There was a few times we were in the box and passed it out, we just don’t shoot much.

I don’t know if we’ll lose the league because there’s still 29 games to go, it’s far too early. But we don’t deserve to win anything at the moment.

It’s bad when there’s about 40 minutes left in game and you just know we can’t get back into it unless there’s a pure fluke of a goal.

Lost of any style and ideas.

Tounetki has got the Covid 19 Soro-ism about him. He would be lucky to have made the bench for us last season if we are being brutally honest.

Even if we win next 3 matches we could be 14pts behind Hearts by end of 1st week in November

This is not and has never been about defending the Board.

However, it is about correctly assigning responsibility and accountability accurately. The Club EXECUTIVE do have to be partly held to account, but to put all of this entirely on them is to be handing a free pass to others that should likewise be accountable. There is nothing apologetic about that. It's fact.

At no point have I sought to defend the indefensible, especially in regards to the responsibility of the executive. Whether it has been the transfer activity, the use of funds on disco lights or even the appointment of the manager, current and in the past. Yhe Executive are, in part, accountable. Absolutely, they are. And of course they should be.

And while criticism is merited, the current campaign being undertaken by some sections of the support is not the answer, much less doing anything than causing disruption and further stirring negativity. But it is not just about them, is it? Yet, to aim all of your vitriol at them, or cussing out other fans that disagree with the methods that you are advocating, is in itself blinkered and counter-productive.

The team need the fans to get behind them especially at the moment. If you cannot see or realize the negative impact of what the negative interuptions and protests have had, then you must be even more blind than I am. These protests that have been staged do not occur in a vacuum. and players are not immune to that swirling all around them, so how does it help?

So calling me names as you seem to feel the need to resort to, or anyone who holds a differing opinion, if that is what helps you sleep at night, have at it, but it isn't going to change the facts.

Maybe we would have got a draw at best if dane Murray hadn't of played and we had toukneti stay on.

Rodgers doesn't have a clue about players abilities and form. He just goes with his usual players 4-3-3 that has not worked in a big game not once this year.

A depressing season ahead with no reliable strikers.

See the most depressing thing about today is Hearts looked absolutely bang average and we gifted them 3 goals from individual errors. We conceded an O.G, a scuff that our centre back moved out the way off and our keeper watched the ball trundle past him and a penalty.

We scored a good goal, should have scored another and I am sick seeing balls flash across opponents boxes and none of our players being anywhere near them.

Our club needs gutted top to bottom. Our academy is massively under performing, our recruitment is shambolic and our management both on and off the field look uninterested and out of ideas.
