I saw a story in the paper a few weeks ago and it said Milan were going to offer Laxalt plus cash for Eddy. If that actually happens and we take it (I doubt it will) I won't be renewing my season ticket because if that's a measure of where we are then I'm out.

 

In other games he put in a lot of effort. Yesterday he didn't look interested.

When he was turned at the second goal he just gave up. He actually had enough time to chase and block the cross, but he just jogged behind Aribo.

 

He is * awful, i honestly dont see what attributes he has, cant cross, isnt fast, shocking positioning, doesnt overlap, dives in, * *!

as pish as laxalt and kenny were the other day ,the retarded formation lennedy set up left them horribly exposed (like it did every other time we tried it)

 

I don't blame either to be honest, same as Taylor and boli to a lesser extent (his off field antics not excused).

We simply do not play any of our players in the correct position and/or the correct partnerships.

We play a diamond, with a pretend Ely as a secondary striker.
Means the left back needs to be more defensive sound - guess what, laxalt isn't that! He's a winger come full back, he's gonna leave space behind him.
You want laxalt as a full back, you need to play a winger in front of him (who actually sticks there).
Or else he ends up too far forward, caught out thinking does he come deep or stay slightly forward to break for the counter etc.

Not helped by the fact we then play a right footed/sided CB next to him, who is good, but is meant to be on the right side, so he automatically doesn't turn left to help out on that side either (I mean for * sake at stages this season we argued for Sher to be a right back, that's how dumb it is when we see him on the left side of the back two).


Rinse and repeat all of the above but on the right side, with Christie doing the same as Ely and Kenny just being poor, with Welsh an inexperienced centre back who is understandably going to make mistakes.
