Diego Laxalt!

No for me..

I'd rather try and bring someone in who can build the play better and cross a ball. Also no be beaten so easily by being in the right position..

 

Hes a bit crap.

 

He’s not class at all. He’s a good tackler in 1v1 duals.

Other than that he’s been pish. Can’t beat a man, can’t put in a decent cross and has no positional sense at all. He pops up at centre mid half the time, leaving the left side of the defence completely exposed.

And he’s just turned 28. He’s not all of a sudden going to become an assist machine going forward.

 

He looked excellent for his first few weeks here and was in the World Cup team of the tournament. His form took a massive dip along with everyone else in our squad.. Edouard, Frimpong, McGregor.. all pure muck. I’d definitely get Laxalt on board for next season if we can get him for £5m or less.

 

He never looked excellent.

He just looked a lot fitter than any of our players.

 

Laxalt is probably a much better player than he's showing, as is the rest of our squad under that clown in charge, but for the fee's mentioned to sign him on a permanent deal (around 5-7 iirc) I'd prefer we look elsewhere

 

I agree, hes 28 now not going to be much better, when he came in at first he kinda flattered to deceive the fact that he looked like he wasn’t scared of a meaty challenge and unlike half the team looked like he gave a * but definitely not the answer to our LB position though granted yesterday saved us the 3 points as opposed to 1 in the last minute yesterday

Think Taylor is probably the better of the 2 options at Left back thought he had a decent game yesterday but overall not the answer to a first team Celtic Left back unfortunately

 

Not going to be here next season,no point in playing him

 

I think Im the only one that liked bolingoli very raw but good attacking wise and had pace

Bolingoli was/is underrated.

 

I'm not going to be upset if he doesn't stay and I don't think he'll want to given how poorly our season has gone. He's likeable with his effort, but his delivery is poor from what I've seen, and I can recall a couple of goals where he's been out of position defensively. I'm not overly impressed.

 

Bolingoli was one of the most comical players I’ve ever seen play for us.

Even the simplest of things like his first touch would either be so heavy and put him under immediate pressure, or roll under his foot like it did in the first half of our 5-2 win at Fir Park on about 3 separate occasions.

His best game for us was at Ibrox when he was just hoofing it for the majority, and he even managed to nearly assist one of them down the right hand side with an inexplicable back pass.

He didn’t understand the concept of goal side either, an absolutely horrendous footballer.

He wasn’t in the WC team of the tournament. No idea why that myth has endured.

And he wasn’t excellent. He was standing out because he was putting in a shift and the rest of the team was dross. He had a cracking game v Milan. That aside he’s done nothing.

 

Says it all when a mediocre player like Taylor is keeping him out of the side..

New LB back needed.

 

He was in a couple of unofficial team of the tournament selections, rather than the official one.

I was on holiday during that one and ended up watching it on Celtic TV later on. Had been hearing all about this great Bolingoli performance and how it was his breakout display. Where in reality all that really happened was that he managed a full game without making any real * of things.

 

Apparently wee hickey not settling very well in Italy, Kinda becoming an unused sub , would be pretty tough a young boy at 18 trying to settle into a new country trying to learn the lingo away from mates and family

Boys a decent player, bring him home

 

Uruguayan defender Diego was in the official World Cup 2018 team of the tournament - unfortunately it was Diego Godin and not Laxalt
