He has literally lost all ability it has been trained out of him. Who has actually improved this season ?

 

Unless we are claiming laxalt is the cause for this run, then that does nothing but distract from the real issues.

In that same time, brown, Édouard, Christie, McGregor, have all been in the same games and will have a similar return.

Considering our current season form in the time he has been here is 33% win rate for this season's games as well

Said in the match thread, at first he was excellent, seems to have deteriorated rapidly. He looks slower than when he first arrived and his positional play is nightmarish, saw Welsh basically having to usher him in to position on 2 occasions.

He looks good pushing forwards, then when he gets to the final third his delivery is brutal.

Taylor gets it tight, but I'd have no problem starting him ahead of Laxalt.

 

Hes mince, i havent seen him take a single person on.

Ability doesn’t get “trained out of” of someone. If it did, Turnbull would be sitting on the park with his thumb up his *. Laxalt is a reasonable defender with a good engine. That’s all. Boy was I fooled by him. We were all guilty of believing he was a world beater because he looked like he gave a * in his first couple of games and we all seen him at a World Cup nearly 3 years ago. 7 million? 7 quid.
