7-8 million, in our market, should be getting you a French Eddy type absolute gamechanger, not a committed fullback with a poor final ball.

Would take him on a free, maybe push the boat out to a couple of million but to * with 7-8M.
Much as I love his tackling, he offers so little in the final third.

he made a great recovery run and tackle on sat - top class defending that is his strength as we know.
I am hoping from the return that MJ can come into the team - I think Laxalt and MJ playing in front could be a strong wing, this would require MJ to do the dirty work and track back when required, but on the attack Laxalt can help out, make overlaps etc - they would add balance and natural width to the team - send Moi back to Soton he has 2 good games outta 10 and is wasteful around the box. This would require a formation to fit but it could help solidify the left hand side ?

I think they need money asap for FFP deadlines, maybe 5 million with 25% sell on fee etc they might try and pinch ajer within some sort of future deal. id have laxalt over moi that is for sure. I just wanted Meling from Rosenborg fs he looked a clinker and cheap as *!

His agent has already said he wants to play in england and will be moving on after this loan deal ends.

It doesn't really get you that. It gets you an 18-year-old kid with the potential to be an Eddy-type game changer in a year or two if developed properly. An actual French Eddy is probably more like 12- 15 million, as we'll see when we sell him.

I still take your point that this is what we should be spending our money on, though. I think you're right there.

We also need a striker who is willing to gamble to get on the end of any final ball, unlike Eddy who never makes that run into the box......

decent defensively a better player than taylor but we need someone a bit more attacking, maybe we should go for a winger that can defend a bit if and when needed

I thought the same until I seen that Di Marzio was the source.

    He is very reliable.

    https://gianlucadimarzio.com/it/milan-laxalt-celtic-al-hilal-calciomercato-news

A season as a protagonist with the Celtic shirt , where he arrived on loan from Milanlast October, now the new proposals arriving from the market.

Diego Laxalt , who has been retiring in Dubai for a few days together with the rest of his teammates, ended up in the crosshairs of Al-Hilal , a team currently in first position in their championship.

The Arab club has offered the player a three-year contract for almost 3 million euros per season , while waiting to speak with Milan . But the boy refused because he wants to continue playing in Europe.

In fact, his priority remains Celtic , where he is playing continuously and is highly appreciated by the current technical staff. If Lennon is confirmed on the bench, he will certainly ask the club to try to redeem the winger born in 1993 and in that case he would then begin negotiations with Milan, to which Laxalt is linked with a contract until 30 June 2022.

Don’t think he is worth that. Also don’t think he’d sign anyways.

7.2 million for him, sorry not worth it. Need someone better else for that type of money and better re-sale value.

As we know its not often a player who wants to leave goes for what quoted,i think 4-6 million would be enough, but again his agent said something about wanting to play in epl.

Yeah it was a needless free kick but we should have dealt with it.

Keeper should clear it, Duffy should hoof it away.

    Same * all season.
