    I seem to remember an old documentary saying Jock Stein was a master of spotting potential for playersto be utilised in a different position than they're used to. Think Diego has definitely got the potential to play there, but it would need a manager with some vision to actually try it. Which obviously we don't have.

    He wasn’t pish but it was definitely his worst performance so far. And yet he was still (with Ajer) our best player on the pitch.

    I’ll be amazed if he wants to stay permanently. He could do much better than us, the way things stand.

    I don’t see him staying once his loan ends. He must surely be thinking he made a mistake, coming into a shambles of a gutless team that have just downed tools under the helm of a manager who is really inept, ignorant and clueless. He would have been sold on the brochure of becoming part of club legend making history at a huge traditional club and win some silverware - instead he is finding himself in the complete opposite. The walls are crumbling around him and he doesn’t know the language either it must be real ** for him tbh. I really like the guy and his work rate and effort but there is no way he would want to stay on and continue playing with this squad who show this type of attitude.
