This guy could make all the difference, to us winning the league or not, I think he's that good.

Yes please, if they really do want Ajer and Laxalt is part of the deal hopefully it can be done. Finding a quality CB is a bit easier than finding a LB of Laxalt’s quality imo.

I truly believe not only has he gave us the LB we needed but he has given Moi a new lease of life and space to play due to his runs.

    A double Brucey bonus.

They can give us money and Laxalt for Ajer.

People, for some reason, still don’t seem to understand how much Ajer brings to us. Some people seem happy enough to let him go. It’s mental.

Agree what your saying their the way he takes the ball out from the defence and on to the midfield .... that said he has forgot how to be solid at the back ..... the Milan game was first time in a long while where he looked like his old self solid and sure in the tackle and defence

I agree. But at the same time I think it would be easier to find another Ajer than find another Laxalt. Full backs are a * of a position to fill. They won’t be far off each other in fees.

We don't appear to be very good at filling CBs either. So not sure how true that is, for us at least.

    We generally do just fine.

Fullbacks, not so much. Lucky to have produced our our own one for a handful of years and had another long term one in Lustig.

For me he still gets turned way too easy, but he is a presence and his ability to carry the ball forward on occasion is underrated.

For all his experience, domestic, European and international, he's still got a lot of learning/improving to do.

    Really?

I’d say he’s largely been very good this season. Can’t immediately think of anyone who has been consistently better than him.

If I were him I wouldn't even want to stay.

Pretty damning how fit he is compared to the rest of our squad.

5+ years ago I'd agree. Not now.

I was pretty much referring to Duffy but I'll raise you Hendry.

VVD, Denayer, Reiper, Mjalby class have been missing for quite a while.

Has attitude and quality that the rest of the squad desperately lack.
