Like the look of him, once he is up to speed he will be top class for us.

Decent debut beside some rank rotten performers.

Played no better than Taylor has for the last 10+ games. People saying he showed desire...that’s the one thing Taylor actually guarantees. He was quicker to the ball in the attacking areas but it led to nothing, much like Taylor when attacking. I agree laxalt in future will end up decent but don’t get how anyone can rate him in that game and consistently slate Taylor for The same and also better performances than that

Did I not say I agree in future he’ll do well. I’m saying people can’t slate Taylor for similar/better performances than that then go and praise laxalt for desire, when it came to nothing

Only player I feel positive about after today, got forward and back, stuck in some good crosses and tackles, tried like * all game.

One of the only positives today was that Greg Taylor wasn't playing to make things even worse.

He kept going to ground to tackle today.

    It felt rather risky.

Neil Lennon hopes Diego Laxalt can help Celtic land a Euro blow on parent club AC Milan.

The Celtic boss saw Philippe Coutinho stick the knife into
Barcelona while on loan from them at Bayern Munich.

Now he hopes the Uruguayan new Bhoy can follow suit in Thursday’s Europa League Group H opener against the Italians at Parkhead.

Lennon, who handed loan ace Laxalt his debut in Saturday's Old Firm defeat, said: “It’s great that he’s free to play against them but it can leave you with a bit of a * nose sometimes.

Barcelona were okay with Coutinho playing against them and it might have come back and bit them a bit.

Of course we’ll be leaning on Diego a lot in the coming days before the game but we’re not just talking about this specific game.

It’s a good career move and important for his development to play regularly and the British culture is a style he wants to adapt to.

Most importantly he wants to play well for us. He made it clear he wanted to come and play here and he’s fully focused and excited at the season ahead. He knows he’s going to be an integral part of the squad.

He’s probably been unfortunate not to play more for AC Milan. He had a good spell at Torino last season and has been a brilliant player for his country over the last few years.”

Got absolutely shagged for the second goal. I cant see what everyone else is seeing, thought he wasn't very good at all.

Thought he was a positive, in a day without many..

Brown, Ajer and Laxalt only pass marks for me.

Felt sorry for him yesterday. Guy has obvious talent and he was playing with a bunch of total wasters

I would add Welsh to that list. A lot was said about him starting but I felt he put a lot of the more ‘experienced’ players to shame.

Felt sorry for him. Gave it everything and must’ve been wondering what the * he’d got himself in to.

There was plenty to see. He’s the only player for me who showed a want to win the ball back when the chips were down. He was even up putting tackles in inside their own box with no help. It’s clear as day.
