No sure mate, Lenny rarely throws a new player in, usually to his detriment.

Think he's been in some Milan squad's and played some friendlies already....plus the fact it's basically just under 2 week's away..

Also said he's here to play now. That was a kinda giveaway as we know he's been brought here as first choice left back..

I might be wrong bud but I hope I'm right

    Think he should as well.

Played in 4 friendlies last month and was on the bench for all Milan’s games so far in the league so fitness shouldn’t be too much of an issue.

Match sharpness could be an issue then.

So since it looks like he doesn't speak a word of English, how does that go down in training?
Do they have translators standing on the touchlines. :blahblah1

He will know the words he needs to know on the pitch.

All he needs to know is that "aqui" is "here" in English.

Lad does not need to know any other word on the pitch.

He wants the ball? Shout "here"
He wants to pass the ball? Shout "here"
He wants to shout at Ajer for leaving a gaping hole? "here" (you)

All else fails, I would like to think we can tell Ajer, Barkas, McGregor and Ely (the players he will most likely pass to) that if an overgrown child in green and white hoops shouts "Aqui", then they should pass the ball to him.

Language really should not be an issue on a football pitch, literally need to know how to play the game and get someones attention, the sheer fact he will be pointing to where he wants the ball to be played, or making the actual run should be enough combined with "here" or even just a loud grunt will do.

I know this was partially tongue in cheek, but what a load of rubbish. Communication is a massively important factor in football.

I played for a year with a boy from Spain a few years ago and he struggled massively in the first few months because of the language barrier. At a good level, footballers should be communication constantly and the split seconds make a difference. If you’re second guessing shouts and instructions, it sure as * effects your performance.

Insert generic football manager response with regards to language barrier being a potential issue.

I heard something a few years back, that seemingly he did learn English (or at least enough of it) while he was here, but he couldn't be arsed with the daft interviews so would always pretend otherwise in public.

Like my * take post earlier though, surely you'd like to think he would have learnt enough to get through a game?
