Totally out of his depth from day 1, and no amount of excuses can hide that fact.

Falkirk, St. Mirren, etc. FFS, savaged by Gus MacPherson's Saints, who are fucken useless.

BTW, 65K a week for Keano, how does that compare with any of the Ginger wan's team?

    Thought so.

    Priceless, comedy gold.

He got rid of the *, and made us much worse.

Just ask Falkirk or St. Mirren punters.

    Clueles is what he is.

My first choice wasnt Mowbray but we couldnt get Hodgson so he was the realistic one. I have followed his career, he did a good job at hibs imo and when he went to west brom where he won one of the hardest leagues in the world, the championship, scoring goals for fun. He then got relegated from the premiership, which many a good manager has like Strachan for example, and with the state of Scottish football the way it was in and the team we had i honestly thought with a few additons he would be able to get us playing decent football and win us trophies.

If you are going to say about winning records at other clubs then what has Bilic achieved, a name that has fans creaming there pants at the prospect of coming in.

Should Mcgeady not come into the lightweight/showpony list aswell. Was shoved off the ball against St.Johnstone and alot of games and likes to try and beat people too many times

lets be honest he was facing one of the worst Rangers teams in recent history, he had a very strong squad and he still did as bad if not worse than barnes, he barely won half the games he was in charge and all this after finally getting the board to give him some spending money

£2million compensation to get him and shown the door 9 months later when the season tickets are due for renewal soon.....

To be honest I think his appointment in the first place caught a lot of the fans off guard, but a think the weight of being a 'celtic minded' individual went with it. A lot us went with it because that's what you do. he didn't get the footballing roll of the dice and has ultimately paid for it with his job.

All Bilic did was take a national team that had plunged down the FIFA rankings and was in a dire state, and turn into a European powerhouse with players branched out across the best teams in Europe, players that he scouted himself and trained, he built that entire team into what it is today and he is exactly what we need as a manager.

Yes the stats will tell you that he did 'that bad'.

I just think he changed too many things too quickly. I don't disagree with most of the changes he made but he just did it all too fast. Perhaps the wiser course of action would have been to sign four players and put them into last season's team and leave it at that till next season. Instead of which he pretty much dismantled the squad and tried to rebuild it in 2 transfer windows. Gradual change would probably have produced better results than doing things the way Mowbray did.

He also totally lost the plot towards the end. To lose 4-0 at St.Mirren with Boruc and Hinkel sitting on the bench while Paul McGowan is on the park is pretty unforgiveable.

It's a shame. I really wanted him to succeed and I still believe he's a much better manager than what he has shown in his 9 months at Celtic. :54:

Mowbray was downright ridiculous at times.

"Oh hey, uhh.. we're not winning so I'll take off anyone for another striker and hope that gets us a goal!"

Yes. i actually think he was worse than Barnes. The wost in 15 years and probably the worst since Stein when you look at the money advantage etc we had over Rangers in his time. There is simply no parallel for a side to go to the last day of the season (something that was treated as a disaster but was normal enough-its happened 4 times in 7 seasons) to staring at the possibility of being 16 points behind. That is uniquely bad. However, no hard feelings. He tried his best but it wasnt for him this job. Never was and I blame whoever appointed him more than Tont himself.
