Anyone played the beta
Had a quick go and it seems decent but i hope it doesn't end up like the first one which was just a grind fest

Put in a good couple of 100 hours into Destiny 1. Done everything there was t do apart from Trials flawless. Can't wait for Destiny 2 but haven't played the BETA. Will save my first experience for when it releases.

The first one was a huge disappointment. Somehow they forget to put an actual story into the game and it was just a complete grindfest.
If there's a good campaign in this one, I might get it. -
From a Pvp point of view the beta is ridiculously more easy. I've been maintonong a 2.5 "efficiency" (which has replaced the Kd system as (K+A) / D)) not sure why bungie have went down this route. Probably to molycoddle people who are * a Pvp.
As for pve, it seems to be a big step up from D1. The strike feels like a mini raid.
I also believe Bungie will have killed some of the grinding aspects - for example, all weapons will have the same perks except for 1 intrinsic perk. So it should balance the weapons out for everyone. -
Its the same KD system they have in halo.

I've not played Halo in years mate. I struggle to remember much about it except for the high ttk and the non hitscan weapons.

Has anyone been playing this?
I've had it since release and really impressed with it. It's more like the game i was hoping Destiny 1 would be, a lot more content and the story in the campaign mode was really good.
Trying to work my way through the end game content and currently have a clan going - Freezing Our Ghauls Off

I'm playing on xbone, but clans are cross-platform (although that doesn't mean you can play together), so even someone on PS4 (and eventually PC) can benefit from the clan rewards generated by those on xbone -
Yeah man. Really enjoying it and the current faction wars going on just now. Great game.

sorry, only just seen this. a few of my clan members and i cleared it yesterday on our third attempt. i thought it was supposed to be one of the easier ones, but we found it pretty difficult the first two times
trying to get the rat king sidearm and needed to clear the nightfall with 5 mins to spare, ended up with 32 seconds on the clock. cant say i was disapointed though, at that stage i was just happy to clear it!
has anyone managed to complete the raid? -
This weeks a decent one for a prestige completion.

Never liked or fancied the first Destiny that much, but took a shot in the dark with Destiny 2 and bought it for 32 quid on Amazon, as I liked the sound of the First Person MMO premise of the game.

Played it for an hour or 2 and still don't get the fuss about the Destiny franchise, really need to spend more time with it before I decide if it's my cup of tea or not.

Am up to 280 power. My clan is top notch and it’s really gonna help me get to the highest levels. Game just gets better every time I play it.
