    Was it not 3 first team players?

    Makes sense, as the likes of Osmund, Nygren and whoever we sign at LB wouldn't be considered first choice.

    First team i think. But depends on the definition and whether you'd put Nygren in that bracket still as a Swedish International etc. Not paying a lot of money for him if he comes but he isn't what I'd describe as a squad player.

    That article they link has Balikwisha as our "top target" which I also don't buy.

    Will see what happens.

    Just out of curiosity, why don’t you think he would be our top target? We’ve been looking at him for a year now and his injury is what seemed to have scuppered the deal being done last summer.

    Fair enough.

    Personally, I can the article being true in the sense that he’s our top target. Just with the history of it. Clear interest in the summer, got injured so deal collapsed. Then further interest in January but Jota came in, which gave us more cover. And now, we seem to be targeting him again, this time with less than a year on his contract, fully recovered from his injury with a good record at the back end of the season.

    Just seems like we are definitely targeting him.
