Disgusting . How anyone could pimp their child out for money is mind boggling. Seems if you where a child star on any of these platforms it's lucky if you escaped unharmed.

I can only speak of my own experience but I saw my brother progress from pills at the weekend to sitting in the hospital with doctors asking me how long had he been injecting heroin. Hits you like a train because you never expect one of your own to be hooked on junk.

I understand the opposition to decriminalisation but when the alternative is going to some dirty gaff to score * laced with Christ knows what and gouching on a rotten carpet with used needles left behind from the last punters then I think people need to be a bit more open minded. I know I'm hyper sensitive about it but you don't know how it feels til it happens to your family. Addiction doesn't discriminate - we had the exact same upbringing in a nice area with good, hardworking parents who gave us all the love in the world. He's mentally ill.

Like I said earlier.... get them hooked on all the bad *. Keeps them subservient.
Then when they get themselves sorted and feel like spilling the secrets of their abusers... bad * happens.
She probably thought with all the other celebs coming out recently against their abusers she would as well.
This will be why she has mental health issues.

Exactly mate, I still think that had a lot to do with Britney Spears going off the rails. Then there is the Bella Thorne abuse from a very young age, these * are in a position of trust with vulnerable young people that are chasing a dream which really is a nightmare tbh.

I remember reading something that said when Britney shaved her hair off she said "I'm tired of being touched." Maybe she just meant literally hair and make up people but now with all the abuse stories coming to light it definitely seems more sinister.

I know you made a flippant comment about sounding like Angus earlier, but I can’t help but feel you’re onto something with these posts.

    Read up on Judy Garland.
Poor woman was raped from the age of 13 in order to get film roles and because parents and others wanted them to be a star they let it happen.
She knew of dozens of other girls it was happening to as well.
Got her hooked on all sorts of * from a young age and She went off the rails a bit as well. Heartbreaking.

Edit. And she died of an ‘overdose’ as well..:

About 15 years ago I think it was Vogue magazine that coined the term heroin chic. From that they were producing skinny gaunt greasy looking models in clothes that looked like they’d been slept in for a month.
I believe it was a sort of fashion in joke as to how bad the problem was with celebrity. It became the thing to do. We were having the comedown from about 12 years of the biggest ecstasy and Charlie party the world has ever seen. So much it has altered the whole world and shaped a generation into the belief that drugs is just what people do. It was no longer a taboo or shame. When I started partying and going out here the scene was only kicking off. I had started my party in Glasgow my first experiences with rave culture and continued to Belfast. Not a lot of people were hitting clubs in my area. Still listening to UB40 and the like. So I was under threat from the Provos. They called to my house to shoot me after they had first callled to my uncles because he had the same name. Poor * * himself and was only out of prison after doing an 8 year stretch. I got a lot of * and stuff accused at me that wasn’t me in the early days. But to get to the point, it was taboo and it brought shame to your family and I couldn’t stay around in my own area. Fast forward a few years and the same people were bringing the drugs in. My parents still live there and big Republican families have sons that are running half of Belfast with drugs. No longer a taboo.
But to get back on point. Vogue was sniggering up their sleeve at the gossip that was flying and it became public knowledge to the point that it was no longer low lives taking skag, it was all the cool rich kids. Kate Moss didn’t try to hide it and neither did Pete Docherty to name two. At the time a guy I knew worked in London in a sandwich shop and was very friendly with an editor of some fashion mag at the time who came in for coffee and would drop of whispers of celeb. Cameron Diaz had been around five or six years and was the hottest thing in Hollywood. But suddenly the work started drying up when she was failing to turn up to film or she couldn’t be gotten hold of. She was hooked on skag and had lost a crazy amount of weight. Suffered from loads of acne and was incoherent most of the time. She was getting away with it because she was injecting between her toes. Fair play, she seems to have turned it round and good luck as she seems a nice person. Jim Carrey is going through prescription addiction and depression since his fiancé committed suicide. For me that is always code for Charlie or Skag addiction. Same happened with Matthew Perry of friends. My overall point is sort of reply to @PaulM1888 at the disbelief that the rich and celebrity don’t get involved with heroin. They do and it is far more rife than is publicised. It is Hollywood’s dirty secret.

Jazz musicians of the 40s and 50s were on opiates.
John Lennon and Yoko were on heroin in 68-69.
    So was Keef Richards.
    Eric Clapton too.
Bowie and Lou Reed would get wasted on it.
The drummer from The Clash was on it ffs.

Then Kurt Cobain and Grunge came along and that is when it became fashionable to look like a junkie as Packy says.
Sure the guy from Pearl Jam was on it as well.
Don’t know too much about Hollywood but it wouldn’t have escaped them there.

Heroin was rife in the music world so it would make sense to also be in Hollywood.

As I said, if there is more than a percentage of a percent of rich famous people in Hollywood that are smackheads I would not only be amazed I would question where you got the information from.

It isn't glamourous, it isn't part of the party lifestyle, it isn't 'cool', it doesn't help or aid your performance as a personality in any way. It does nothing but leave you as a corpse in the gutter.

We don't live in the 60's any more....

As has been mentioned the abuse of drugs in La La Land is a manipulator on its stars to keep dirt on them to avert the real story of paedophilic circles that run the industry and involves Governers of state etc. Look at the two Corey’s story. Feldman is being made out as a crazy drug addict because he is breaking cover on the abuse and rape he and Corey Haim faced. RIP. WEinsteins story is an ice cube on a big * iceberg.

Even a quick google search leads you a plethora of information about Hollywood drug abuse.

The actual strip is meant to be a dirty drug riddled hole of actors who never made it.

River and Joaquin Phoenix were raised around a religious cult that allegedly abused children. Rose McGowan was part of the same cult.

No offence mate but I don’t listen to conspiracy theory nonsense on the internet. If famous people were junkies I could tell you by glancing at them.

Name me 5 current film stars on heroin and I’ll bow to your superior knowledge.

Don’t do the conspiracy * myself. But like Trump tries to do and put anything he doesn’t like is fake news.
Easy to do but there is evidence and stories of victims linked to Government and high profile business men that for years have been involved in the sexual assault on children in the states. Linked across to London and there is fixers for this. Dolphin Square in Westminster is part of this with kids being abused and ones from children’s care homes going missing. This is a serious issue that is being hushed up due to the status of people involved. And drugs is at the centre of it.

Mate let me tell you, I worked with recovering addicts and half the time I couldn't tell just by looking at them which ones were taking a cheeky hit or a smoke now and again.
