if our only choice right now is the Bombscare Brothers, id play stokes and ciftci as the centre back partnership, they canny be any worse than the 2 donkeys from thursday night

I am going on the fact that i have seen ambrose play well
He was the defensive partnership in europe in particular against barca.
He has played world cup qualifiers, african nations etc
I know he is prone to mistakes but he can be the option we need to fill the gap when we have to

Whereas boyata has never gave me that confidence

We could get Gordon to taser him every 5 mins...that will keep the * awake.

Its funny and sad that our defence is so bad one single game makes you a first name on the sheet.:smiley-laughing002:

Mulgrew :97: people forgetting how pish he's been? Certainly isn't the answer to our problems in Europe. Lustig and Boyata for me just now as we've not seen enough of Jozo or Blackett yet. I imagine Boyata and Jozo will be our main partnership once fully fit.

I voted Botata and Jozo, but in all honesty I have no idea if jozos good. Blackett played well with Boyata at fir park though :50:

Suggesting Mulgrew is partly down to complete loss of confidence in Ambrose, Simunovic & Blackett being unproven here and Boyata seemingly incapable of cutting out basic errors.

I hope Simunovic turns out to be a good player or else we're in a spot of bother. Both Boyata and Ambrose are a constant accident waiting to happen.

I think Mulgrew is past it to be honest, hope am wrong but he's only getting slower and more injuries.
Ambrose we know can do well but it's always lapses in concentration that * himself over so fans and more importantly his team mates don't trust him.
Jozo and Blackett could well become our best partnership, that may just be being very optimistic in hoping they are better than what we've got.

Boyata am hoping just needs more game time, he also needs a confident player in next to him that will take the ball. We know he will misplace 1 pass 10 usually, yet constantly let him take the ball forward and rely on him to distribute which is madness.

    Jozo and Mulgrew/Lustig.

Mainly because the rest have proved they aren't up to it and we need to try something new.
