Well in big man! He'll get better and better. Folk saying he's * need to calm the * down. Defence finally shaping up the way Ronnie wants it and it's showing. :50:

His best game I would say was one of the qualifying games, against carrier bag I think and nothing got past him.

He's already in December played 15 games (in the league) this is more then he's ever managed in his career so far

I'm finally starting to see something in him. Hopeful it was just lack of games before. He still needs to improve reading runs from deep.

The lack of games is something that people have to take into consideration.

As I've said in here before, he's 25 and has never played this amount of games in succession in his career. He's played more in 4 months than he had in the previous 4 years.

To have only played 74 professional games at the age of 25 sums it up. It's effecitively like chucking in a much younger player in at the deep end. Hopefully now he is getting to grips with it.

Having a settled partnership for the qualifiers next summer is crucial.

Agreed especially for next season heading into the early rounds of the champions league its crucial to have a settled center defensive partnership and thaknfully Boyata and Simunovic are slowly begining to show signs they are coming together.
Personally I thought Boyata was our man of the match yesterday. Another point not mentioned much is his goal yesterday was his 5th of the season. Thats a very good tally for a center back half way through the season. His ability to chip in with goals from set pieces looks like it could develop into a very good attribute in his game.

Looked great in his 25ish minutes. Hoping his injury is not something too long term, as I think he is finding his form for us. Played really composed and solid when Jozo looked shaky today.

Hes been very good for months, solid defender who managed to cut out the sloppyess on the ball he shows in his first 10-15 games.

Efe and Jozo could be fun and games, two of them are bomb scares at times

The way he went down when he tried to run makes me think it's going to be an 8 weeks one at least, it buckled under him.

Whens Janko or Mulgrew back? Janko seems to have been out for about 3 month or more now and Mulgrews been permanantly * for a year it seems.

If any other defenders get injured we'll end up with Armstrong or somecunt at right back. Actually hes * as well the now who knows what we'd do if Lustig, Boyata or Simunovic got injured, Izzy to right back.

Any news on the injury?? Shame for him if it's a lengthy one, was really starting to see something in him. Made a couple of excellent tackles today & thought he bailed Jozo out once or twice.
