Same thing really. If he commits and gives the performances people are ready to forgive him.

You said if you look at it logically, what Rodgers said isn’t entirely true.

Our clubs do carry out fitness tests. If he passes that but claims he can’t play I’d go for Rodgers series of events.

I don’t think brendan would get his Jollys off publically attacking one of his players.

Still hope he’s punted celtic fans applauding everything he done was pathetic, no wonder our board never feel pressure to act with happy clappers like that there every week.

If you don';t think his words not on Boyata but other matters off the pitch have not affected everyone your mad wi it 24/7, this negatavity stemmed from the Hearts game presser, then openly slating the team to the media, Boyata is just one in a series of comments he has made recently that are totally uncharacteristic of a manager.

Fair point, but I still think he should have held his tongue on it, as it just gave the media lots of * to throw at us negativity wise.

I think he should have as well, not because of the negativity but for the sheer fact you can’t then expect another bid like the Fulham one.

What I do like is Brendan treating the fans with respect and not bullshittin us

Best player on the pitch today. People who booed him and the banner are both an embarrassment to the club

I didn't see that earlier mate..

Wasn't sure if it was the GB that were actually backing him most. Obviously and rightfully no :50:

Agree but the timing was really poor, we were under pressure from the fans and media and giving them more ammunition at a critical stage was poor, we had to have a lot of positivity going into those games.

That’s your opinion and you are entitled to it, but in turn so are the fans that booed and brought the banner. It works both ways.

I couldn’t make today’s game, but I can only imagine that anyone applauding his touch was doing so merely to drown out the boos. Maybe they figured that there’s enough negativity around at the moment and those on the pitch need our backing. If Rodgers has backed Boyata, then their logic may well that they should too.

I’ve never booed a Celtic player, but I’d have been very tempted today. There’s no right or wrong in this situation though. Will always support the eleven Bhoys in hoops on the park, but I’d be delighted to see him leave (as long as he’s adequately replaced).

Ive no forgave him and id prefer if he * off ... but for 90 minutes while hes in they hoops ill support him ... weather i like it or not.
Would some people rather he wasnt in the team today and we drew and dropped more point? Cos i wouldnt.

Yeah I'd rather have a manager that said * all when his * board don't get his top target over a couple of hundred grand.

    * folk are forgetting he has given us a couple of years that were amazing, and I know I'm an auld * but these years have been magic and I don't think a lot of people appreciate or when to enjoy the good times.

He deserved more backing, he didn't get it....is he perfect, * no.....but he is totally entitled to speak out on it mate.

That I don’t particularly disagree with. I do think Boyata faked an injury not to play.

It's not that easy though, a lot of people buy into the spin and it starts to weigh people down, seen it happens before, then that pressure gets transferred from fans onto the park sometimes

I’d personally say a player refusing to play in the biggest games of our season and arguable costing us somewhere in the region of £20 million is a bigger embarrassment to our club but each to their own...

The reaction ans the banner was entirely justified and understandable..

However credit where it’s due he didn’t let it affect him and looked really good Tbf..
