He’s going through a really poor patch at the moment. He needs a spell on the bench to try and galvanise himself. He looks pretty rigid and unfit.

If I was in charge of the club I would be looking to keep Ryan Christie and play him currently in front of Turnbull

His former youth coach at Motherwell always did say he never looks the fittest. Not sure if this is a similar issue to what Paddy McCourt use to go through. Is it a stamina issue?

Think he looks a bit shell shocked at being asked to press for 90 minutes to me.

Taking him out for a few games isn’t a bad idea for him or the team at this point.

dont think he likes the high energy game were being asked to play, seems to run out of energy but then so does a lot of our players, we need to work on the players stamina

He has been pretty grim so far this season.

Christie should be in the team ahead of him on Sunday. The way the team is set up suits Christie far more than Turnbull.

    Looks ridiculously unathletic.

Sometimes it looks like he canny be arsed attempting to chase a bad touch or go for a 50/50. Not sure if he’s that slow/unfit or is just a lazy, lazy *. Not dissimilar to Rogic in the sense that he’s always got that ability to score or unlock a defence. But, does it come often enough to put up with what we lose not playing a far more mobile player in Christie?

I think we need to recognize most of the players are trying to gain match fitness and sharpen the first touch , there are so many influences at play as to how things are going atm its difficult to see the solution simply , we need to play a settled defense try to get players up to speed , i would not be trying to go gung ho at the huns though , play a defensive game and try to hit them on the break , we have many goal scorers in the team , would be great to see ange adapt for these games .

He will have to adapt to the new style and kick on past his comfort zone. Found him very poor so far this season. Ye prob needs a bit of a rest considering he had little rest with the euros and he's coming off a extended period out before last season. If he improves his mobility and agility he could kick on to another level.

Not nearly as poor as some are making out, still very composed on the ball and making good passes, he sees to be playing a little deeper though and not just behind the striker.

Mostly agree with this; I didn't think Rogic was as bad as people have made out when he came on either. I think both have the potential to do well this season with the amount of movement they will likely see from players around them.

Rogic has it in him but he is never fit enough to have long spells in the team so we hardly ever see the best of him, he looked like he lacked sharpness yesterday first touch was hoachin.

Again, another average performance, what a sitter he missed. Would actually start Christie ahead of him.

Needs a wee goal to get him going, but Ange is going to demand much more than he's been used to.. Which is good.

Think he'll meet the challenge just a wee sticky spell, I'd leave him out on Sun.

Ange won’t do that. Not saying I agree with him; just that he won’t.

Firstly, there's no way we play our strongest by looking towards THAT defence as the rock we build on. That's 100% a recipe to invite attacks onto them and will see us shipping goals.

Secondly, the Huns strength is THEIR attacking play, sitting back and allowing their fullbacks and midfield to push forward is playing into their hands. A good, strong pressing game that puts them on the back foot is the only way we win at present. Other teams fearing them and letting them run riot is why they won so much, and any team that actually got at them beat them - ourselves being the only bizarre exception with their shotless victory

That’s neither true nor fair to Hibs and Livi, who both threw the kitchen sink at them on at least one occasion (in the case of Hibs, multiple times) last season.

They simply weren’t equipped for the sort of pressing game it takes to beat them. Get some defenders in and we will be.

The huns fall apart when pressed hard. Thats how we dominated the last few games against them. We just never had the qaulity or coaching to finish them off. They won via zero shots on target remember.
