Agreed. I think he should leave this window but I'm not sure we will replace him.

I don't think he's good enough for us and he's basically chucked it. Jung would seem like the player to bring in but that's gone very cold.

    Turnbull out and Jung in?
    Lagerbielke out and McKenna in?

Seems like two easy deals to make.

Yeah I think we'd fine. Plenty options in the centre of the park, its not worth offering him a new deal as he's not what we need. So let's get what we can and sell him on.

I definitely don't think we should be offering him a new deal. I was just making the argument maybe it's worth keeping him until the summer, letting him go on a free and then having the replacement in.

We could genuinely lose Turnbull, O'Riley and Hatate in the summer and we would be floating about trying to replace them. Given our recent history of signing players, I don't trust the club to do that.

Not sure what they will do or if they will bring someone in. Domestically I think we could do with a proper playmaker type player and go more 4-2-3-1. Kyogo or our striker is far too isolated at the moment. I don’t know if Palma could do that role but for me we need someone who can score a good number of goals themself and also create a high number of chances.

O’Riley would still be able to do what he is doing as we don’t need to defend that much and we get another attacking player on the pitch.

I think we should sign McKenna or someone like that but I wouldn’t be surprised if we just bosman sign him.

A proper left back and a striker with physical presence and aerial ability would be a priority for me.

Fair point actually. Our squad is mad bloated so it’s good news if we can rid Mikey and Turnbull by Thursday.

I've been saying for long enough we should be going back to a 4-2-3-1 that Rodgers played before.

    Hart

    Johnstone CCV Nawrocki Targett

    McGregor Hatate

    Maeda O'Riley Palma

    Kyogo

    or

    Palmer

    Ralston Welsh Scales Taylor

    Iwata Jung

    Kuhn Bernardo Abada

4231 is just another way of writing 433 basically. Only difference is playing with a double pivot or single pivot.

He doesn't look interested when he plays for us, at the moment. Good luck to him but I don't think he'll be a loss as he hasn't fulfilled the potential we thought he had.

Punt. Waste of a jersey. I’ve seen an oil tanker move quicker.

I don't think he is what we all think of as Celtic class but at the same time I take no pleasure in losing him (or Johnson) without replacements. Both are good enough to add something in the league

Id rather play Daniel Kelly and lose the league by 10 points than turn down the opportunity to get rid of this fella.. absolutely no reason for him to be still here. Probably would do well at championship level with his attributes

We don’t need to replace him.

Holm is there. Iwata will hopefully be back soon. Hatate to return.

Plus as has been said, I’d rather see Kelly get game time than Turnbull.
