    Disaster of a move.

Championship beckons and he'll have to get them up. With a rancid spineless team aswell.

Why anyone sane would touch Villa is beyond me, he'd need 2 seasons to get them going and challenge back into the EPL, he won't get that long.

    * help him if he is to work with Allan '* pass the ball back' Hutton!

We still have a manager, so we haven't missed out on him - but if it's to be 'known' for deila to be out, then maybe it is a missed chance.

He's the best name that has been linked with us for years now. And he is much better than the Villa job!

If Celtic wanted to sack Ronny and bring in Moyes there would of been a deal by now, the club would plan in advance if they were to sack Ronny and who to bring in for start of the transfer window.

The club wouldn't bring in Moyes because he would want more from the board than Ronny gets currently

We won't get a high profile manager.

Also we couldnt afford his wages and that theres no chance he would come here anyway at the moment.

If he says he'd look at it he knows what kinda wages we dish out. I imagine it'd be Mowbray type wages.

It would be the backing in the transfer market that would do it.

I wouldn't imagine Moyes would be wanting much more than we offered Roy Keane. Vastly superior manager but both high profile.

Wouldnt believe anything a manager or player says about wanting to join a team or being happy to sign new contracts.

Moyes isnt exactly going to go "me go to Celtic haha no chance, 1. They couldny afford my wages and 2. If I went there and failed then i'd be *, i'm going to manage in England at atleast 2 or 3 times before i'd go near them"

Which is probably the truth, not pish like "oh wonderful job, it would be an honor to manage them of course I would be interested"

Moyes was never going to happen anyway. I'm sure someone quoted him as saying Celtic would be good to manage but the resources aren't enough.

We could afford Moyes, his stock is low considering his last 2 jobs and he'd seen it as a good chance to get into EPL further down the line. But he'd be told to work with the squad we have, let go of a few and get a few in but nothing major.

I don't think it's a case of us not being able to afford his wages, we definitely can, I think it's more a case of us never paying his wages in a million years because we're incompetent *.

I doubt it, he'll be on about £60k per week with probably large bonuses in an EPL job.

Celtic would never pay anything near that, as if he failed we'd be *. Imagine having to pay off Moyes and his other staff about £4.5million to get rid of them, absolute no chance.

Current coaching staff probably don't even get half of £60k per week combined even including all youth teams.
