    MVG totally threw that away. Taylor was playing really well but van Gerwen was stinking for the last couple of sets.

    Van Gerwin has nobody to blame but himself, he couldn't hit the treble 20 to save himself tonight.

    And the times he did he would switch for absolutely no reason whatsoever. Hit 2 treble 20's in one tiny corner with virtually the whole bed available then switch to the bull when back on 400 odd points (and miss)? What on earth was going on there?

    People will feel for MVG, but at the end of the day destroying the treble bed throughout an entire tournament then half arsing it in the last game doesn't cut it.

    Tut tut .. too many wrote off Taylor too easily, Bet365 were giving out early new year presents by offering Taylor at evens! Can't remember the last time that ever happened.

    Stuck £20 on Taylior to win and another £10 on less than 21.5 180's, which was also unbelievably priced at evens.

    Coasted home with both .. Happy New Year!! :icon_mrgreen:

    Victor Chandler or Williamhill (not sure which one) at the start of the tournament where refunding all losing winner bets if Taylor won, so im sure they where paying out alot of £££ last nite, thats twice now same ones did the same if Spain won the Euros, whoever is doing them promos i would say wont be in the job for much longer :smiley-laughing002:
