    I had a look through the account and they were predicting transfers that happened a few days later etc but I’m not sure how far along these were in mainstream media. Like if you looked back at a Celtic account that said we were bringing in a Swedish CB a week ago then seen we signed him yesterday, you might think that account was accurate but if you were a Celtic fan you’d know we all knew about that transfer at the time.

    We got 25m for jota and getting in someone who is possibly an upgrade again in same position that’s been the playing in a better league last couple of years for 8.5m. If we could pull this off would be great business

    I’m sure wolves where struggling last year and when they brought in the Spanish manager podence started playing well and scoring, think the issue was the manager used to change from 4231 to 442 and podence didn’t suit the 442 so played fewer games than he should have , when playing 4231 he was sometimes dropped for Traore who did nothing in the games, when podence was starting he was scoring frequently in the premiership.
    This boy signs then it’s a really good signing and would score goals

    Thing about Podence is you might not have much resale value, but you’re getting your moneys worth in production anyway.

    He’s the kind of player that we can’t pass up if it is works out.

    £8.5m for him is a bargain.

    He's 27, prime. I think people have become too obsessed with ages in modern football. You need to have a balance, we've already signed 6 players, none of whom are older than 23 ffs.

    He's a quality experienced player. Getting that for less than £10m nowadays can only be a bargain.
