I noticed Lennon giving him credit for speaking with Griffiths about his delivery.
I'm really glad we have him on board. He seems really passionate and was obviously a fantastic player who experienced a lot.
I just fet the feeling hes offering us a lot behind the scenes. Maybe not getting mentioned enough as is always the case with those in his role, I suppose.

Corners were class tonight and now I read this I remember Griffiths ran toward the bench pointing at them after we scored.
He hung the corners up, took 3 that 2nd half a I think and they were all identical and Jullien got the head on all 3, think one was the mad scramble Jozo and Brown both hit the bar with? first one Jullien scored and 3rd Jullien headered past the post. -

A big thing we have is we have coaching staff like Kennedy, Woods, Mcmanus and Dunn who didn't want to leave Celtic. They stayed because they have passion for us, same with guys like O'Dea. They are proud to coach us. They are not just here for a paycheck

Need people like McManus and O'Dea saying "listen son I was utter pish and couldn't hit a barn door with a ball" but how they worked hard to get into the best shape they could every day and worked hard for the team and that even if you are Dembele and far better than anyone your age you've played all your days it doesn't count for anything when it comes to playing real football.The_Bhoy likes this. -

You see him giving players instructions out the wee notebooks.
Can't be a bad thing having him around giving advice. -
Certainly making an impact! Was wondering where Griff was pulling these corners from, never thought of Duff being the man but makes sense.
-
Long overdue but we now seem to be doing better with our corners, so important as we get plenty.

I think he’ll make a fantastic manager one day. What a guy for our attackers to lean on day in and day out in training - 100 international caps, world class on his day, Premiership stalwart and multiple time winner.
I’ve loved him since his first interview when he came over, he has a steely determination about him and a cast iron work ethic.Lilac Wine, kramer1, Rydo1888* and 4 others like this. -

He was getting absolute rave reviews in Ireland with Rovers(shitebags) about his coaching especially his man to man coaching with the younger lads, He has obviously been able to handle the step up in class.
He does a fair bit of punditry on TV over here in Ireland and you can also see hes a man that doesnt take nonsense, straight shooter id say. Going from coach to manager is a massive step but Duffer certainly has the mentality and temperament for it.
He said Celtic was the only role he would of left Ireland for too so let's hope it stays that way, I'd imagine there a few clubs taking note.kramer1 likes this. -
