He is not alone in his dip in form, if he was, then as much as it would pain me because I * love this *. Then alot of the recent criticism is fair game, albeit, id argue we've got a petty mindset of how quickly we turn on players when they are due for the off.

But club wide, something is rotting which obviously stems from the board down, but Rodgers isn't without fault in all of this

 

Tbh I thought we played well. We scored, hit the woodwork twice. Keeper had a good game. The main problem again, was the lack of quality changes available. Stems from yet another * transfer window and not replacing people who left.

 

I missed the game but my son said Maeda was actually way better than Yang and Forrest on the right.

 

I don't know that I would say way better but he had his moments and I would start him on the right again on Thursday night against Braga.

 

It just never works out keeping a player who wants away, as we found out to our cost Covid season. And I would not be surprised if a similar story were to come out about Engles
