    Agreed Pad..

He'll get loads of joy for us. It may just be because he's that quick that he can look like he hasn't got it all under control in some of the reels but then at other time's he looks spot on..

Maeda expected in Glasgow tonight? Something I've heard, anyone else heard the same?

Be great to get some deals in place early on and get players bedded in quickly before the huns game.

I'd imagine you could have everything in place agreement between players and clubs etc but need to wait to make it official on the 1st.

    Didn't know that about Torres.

Sorry but we have enough cover at left back, that’s a fact.

Now that you have introduced the midfield area we can have a discussion, only Cal Mac has the leg and the engine out of all our midfielders.

We never replaced Christie with his pace and workload and severely lacking, hence why our manager is going for midfielders and has seen what we need at the club as he works daily with them.

We don’t have any legs in the middle of the park which is a major issue braking down teams which is more of a priority than sorting a left back.

We have loads of left backs of similar quality, which isn't good enough.

Starfelt and pick a random left back to start, are the weak links in our starting XI by some distance.

Remembering back to my initial post I picked out 5 players to sign before saying ideally a left back!

Two were midfielders both being guys with good energy and preferably capable of playing box to box. Two wingers as we again have a number of bodies but most have injury issues and others are young and untried and a forward as Ajeti has proved he can’t fit the system and Giakoumakis hasn’t managed to hit the ground running either.

There is a fact we have plenty of bodies who can play left back but going with facts the guy who has played there most this season is our starting right back, Taylor in his time at the club has never been able to play 3 games in a week without looking like he is struggling and Scales has only just played a handful of games for us. As mentioned before Montgomery is nowhere near the required level to be considered an option and Boli is desperately trying to be punted.

I know and even said so myself that there are more pressing positions to fill quite a few of them but if not this window in the summer I think we could do with a starting left back.

It was decided on the 29th that Japan national team FW Daizen Maeda (24) of J1 Yokohama M will transfer to Celtic of the Scottish Premier League for a limited time. The transfer period is half a year, but it is premised on a complete transfer next summer, and an estimated 2 million euros (about 260 million yen) will be incurred if the accompanying purchase option is exercised. Negotiations have reached a basic agreement, and Maeda will soon travel to England. He scored 23 goals in J1 this season and won the title of his first top scorer and best eleven. For one year from the summer of 2019, he was enrolled in Maritimo, the first division of Portugal, and even after returning to Japan, he has been studying abroad again. The European transfer market will soon open in January next year. Under the direction of Postecoglou, who led Yokohama M until June, "Hama no Hidaten" will take on the second European challenge. ◆ Daizen Maeda Born October 20, 1997 in Taishi-cho, Minamikawachi-gun, Osaka Prefecture. Loan part is weird. All I can hope is that we're saving cash for Carter-Vickers or Jota

Yokohama FM Japan national team FW Daizen Maeda (24) will be transferred to Scotland Celtic for a limited time with a purchase option on the 29th.

Celtic is directed by Postecoglou, the former director of Yokohama FM. It is expected that the transfer will be completed next summer, and the transfer fee will be about 200 million yen. For Maeda, who scored 23 goals in J1 last season and became the top scorer, this will be his second overseas challenge since Portugal Maritimo.

    Google Translate is brilliant sometimes

Excellent news. Cannae wait to see Maeda, Hatate, Ideguchi, Calmac, Jota, Abada and Wolf absolutely harassing and ripping the * out of every midfield and defence in the country.

Someone get that Norad J league flight tracker on the go. :party048:
