  1. The reason i believe he's worth £7.8 million is because the guy that bought him has a superb record in the transfer market with centre halves, simple really.

  2. henrik cost very little, so why could we not find another 30 goal a season man, who is better than skippy ?

    and how is cuellar worth 8 million exactly, if he only cost 1-2 million a year ago, he's 26, he's hardly improved into a world class player, if he was world class, he would have been world class at osasuna, therefore wouldn't have left for very little.

    the media would have you believe he's worth more than 8 million, but no way is he.

  3. i agree with everthing youve said there. cueller-won nothing, not an international, palyed * when tested against big teams (lyon).

  4. In all honesty I HOPE they dont sign Loovens from Cardiff now, hes a very good defender and I guarentee will be better than Cueller in under a year. Too young for wattie though me thinks.

    i base my own opinion on my own judgement of a player. i'm not interested in what the media says.

    we have been trying to find a replacement for Henke since he left. Skippy is the closest we have come to finding that successor in terms of goals. infact he is the first player to score 30+ in a season since Henke. four years ago. its taken us four years to find that special someone. thats why we couldn't immediately replace him. it would take until next summer at the earliest with £5m+ to spend.

  6. To be honest (although enforced) it's probably not a bad piece of buisiness by the Huns, providing they reinvest some of it. They've made around £5m-£6m profit from Betty and he's not exactly essential for domestic football given that that's they've got this season. Providing they reinvest some of it quickly into a replacement (Loovens or some other unfortunate *) they'll not really be that much worse off.

    Still, it's * great to hear them beeling away!

I don't know whether this has been brought up in the previous posts an if it has i apologise, but i was wondering if anybody knows whether Osasuna had a sell on clause included when they initially sold Cuellar to the Huns. They seemed to get him for a bit of a steal and i thought it was sort of common practice for the Spanish.

  8. Manchester United signed Nemanja Vidic for 7 Million, are you telling me cuellar is better than him considering cuellar is apparently worth MORE than 8 Million.

    has one season in scotland, for the top dog of that league, and is now a world class defender, * me, i never thought i'd see the day cuellar was worth over 10 million.

    and i agree with you, but my initial argument was, we would never 8 million for skippy, imo he's worth about 3.

    you really are a crackpot, 8 million for scott mcdonald, and over 10 million for carlos cuellar.

    Didn't see what all the hype was about personally.

    and i would rather they signed someone we know something about, instead of signing some unknown talent who takes us by surprise.

    we know what to expect from davis.

  14. He's a good player, but there was a reason they didn't sign him before - he's over-priced. If they want to spend half of the Cuellar money on a guy who is not near first team football for Fulham then that's fine by me.

  15. Reading the hun forums they don't half make me laugh, Wasn't so long ago they were calling him King carlos now there giving it out racist slurs about him and calling him unloyal.

  16. Fair point. The only part that worried me was the first half of the OF game last year, he was outstanding then, other than that though, you're right, he's not going to surprise us in any way.
