I think he's a top class player and person. Never understood people that wanted him replaced

Aye he is made some blunders but in general he is a decent keeper but we should be looking to find a more suitable younger replacement for the long term, sooner rather than later.

I would agree with that. Sure he has not been at the same level this season as last but in fairness to him a lot of that would have been down to the * show at center back for much of the season in front of him. Plus beyond that while he was better last season I would still rate him as one of our better more consistent performers overall this season. Certainly there were quite a few players who's level of play dipped way further then Gordon's did this season.

I don't think he's a top class player and what he's like as a person is immaterial when discussing his ability as a footballer.

My issue is he has numerous blunders in big matches which all seem to be swept under the carpet because of his back story and because 'he's a nice guy'.

Personally thought he was part to blame for the goal. Guy can clearly stop shots but he does flap at crosses.

A few decent saves that were very important to us.

Disgustingly-poor command of area for their goal, and again the one where he watched it bounce and offered no communication to O'Connell, forcing him to make a vital tip-out, which, was a baw hair away from being to high for him.

Woeful. And don't even get me started on his kicking tonight...........

Maybe could have done more for the goal but the defending was abysmal. Thought he was great in the second half. Dealt with everything.

    Recovered well.

Couple of good saves. That is the thing, his shot stopping isn't in doubt for me. His collecting from crosses etc is another story.

Seen a lot of folk solely blaming him for their goal but what about the defenders? They have to take a big amount of blame as well.

Brutal. Blame him for the goal.....if he stays put it's a pass back. His horrendous kicking that went in tbe stands continually, and a 35 yard strike down his throat that he parried in to the area and luckily no one following it up. Was pish Saturday as well..

Gotta love it with Gordon, makes a few saves and people forget he's an absolute liability anytime a ball comes anywhere near his 6 yard box. It's happened too many times in qualifiers. Yes he's a good shot stopper, we all know that but he still costs us goals that should be avoidable for most decent keepers.

He really has conceded a number of very poor goals in europe now. Doesn't seem fully at ease.

Defender's hung him out to dry for their goal and he didn't do himself any favours either. Pretty solid after that.

This. Should * sticky this. This is pretty much his match report for every game.
Simply put, he isn't good enough.
