Forster in my opinion was a better shot stopper than Gordon & he never made as many individual errors as Gordon either.

It had * all to do with a lack of 'bravery'. At least not in a physical sense.

It seemed to me that he was concerned about the striker going down if he made a challenge, so stayed on his feet.

I think the whole world expected the striker to put a foot on the ball and either chip it, or knock it past CG... the striker was the one who shat it as he did neither.

I'll be the first to admit that CG's form has dipped, but the goal last night was just one of those things.

I find it laughable that folk are queuing up to throw him under the bus after the sterling season he had least year, and the utter dross of a defence that he has to work with this season.

Jesus, there are FAR worse position-for-position players in our squad than CG, and FAR greater problems to solve.

No way! One mistake and it's a goal. I feel a bit sorry for him, coming back from injury and getting player of the season last year. Now it's all a bit pear shaped. He started the game well too, commanding the box.

I think maybe it's time to drop him which will hopefully give him the focus to get back to his top form.

Been absolute gash all season. Can't believe how much his performances have dipped from last season. Not sure if he'll get back to that level.

Its his legs that are the problem-he runs like the tin man and can't bend them-so when it comes one on one , he is least likely to come out on top. I would still have him in the team. Remember the Holy Goalie dropped some right clangers for us too and we still all love Artur Boruc!!!!:50:

I'm gonna come in here first as he's got it stinking and rightfully so but looked back to his best today..

Couple of top saves and did everything well, coming out on to balls on the deck, coming for crosses as well. Clean sheet..

    Much more like it..

Some good saves today, still prone to a bit of flapping, but overall a good performance after Thursday night.

I actually thought he looked a lot better on Thursday as well, but his performance probably got overshadowed by the howler.

    The new whipping boy.

Still a better keeper than what we could find in this market.

We've been spoiled in recent years, had much worse.

We don't have another difficult game this season so nothing to panic about, no rush.
