    * love the guy, what a hero. Saved us from a bit of a doing last night and made some wonderful saves against Salzburg. So far he looks better than Forster, they are both great shotstoppers (Gordon maybe better) and he's far better at coming out to deal with crosses.

    I think he'd be happy to stay here for the rest of his career. He moved down to England and for a while it went well but as we all know that didn't last long. He's been there and done it. No need to leave again Craig!

    Delia has been unbelievably lucky to have Gordon as his keeper otherwise he would've been out the door.

    That's like saying Lennon would have been out the door if he didn't have Forster or Ancelottti would be out the door if he didn't have Ronaldo.. mad really. :smiley-laughing002:

    I was honestly gutted we were replacing Forster with a "crock, has-been" ect.

    He is probably in the top 3 goalies I've seen at Celtic Park. Unbelievable and it's great to here he could be in with a shout for Scotland again too. :notworthy

    Keep performing, Shania! :50::celt_2:

    Hands up I was another who thought we were getting a guy that was finished. Great credit to Stevie Woods and Celtic and thanks also to the Huns for letting him get fit at their expense. HAHAHA get it up yeez

    Stevie woods must be one of the best goalkeeping coaches about and certainly in Britain, must be better than newcastles :56:

    Commons on last night
    Surprised by this, didn't think Gordon stood a chance at any of the goals. 2 Wicked deflections and 2 wonder strikes that even Ronaldo would only score 1 in 10 of. They were insanely lucky when it came to their goals but I suppose Commons goal was a bit of luck as well.

    Gordon couldn't get to the goals.

    Neither could Buffon or whoever tonight. We were * in every other position. It's not simply his fault he conceded four.

    Have to say I agree with Green Socks. Doesn't come across great from Kris but at the same time I'm sure he didn't mean it like that. Gordon was outstanding yet again last night, didn't put a foot wrong.

    He's saying you need to rely on your best players to turn up and your keeper to make saves. Then he says that the best players didn't turn up and Gordon couldn't get to the goals.

    I don't know mate, it's one of those things .. I've interpreted that to mean he's disappointed in Gordon but I might be wrong :smiley-laughing002:

    I interpreted it as Gordon couldn't get to them, don't think it's criticising of anyone except the 'best players'

    Fair enough, it's no big deal anyway. Anybody could see that none of the goals were Gordon's fault whatsoever.
