By a country mile our best player so far this season. He's saved our skin too often so far.

He looks very sharp and the player that made him the most expensive keeper in Britain a few years back.

Great to see the guy coming good after so much troubles.

Glad we were the ones to take a chance.

 

what's the story with his contract?
I thought it was 1 year with an option at the end, is that right?

 

Two years with option of an extra twelve months.

 

Outstanding keeper! Ive got so much confidence in him.. Ive yet to spot any weakness in his game. Its great to have a keeper who is an all-rounder and no longer be nervous with cross balls and when the ball is played back to his feet. Sure Forster was a brilliant shop stopper but Craig has got it all

 

I come from a Celtic & hearts background from the family & I remember watching Gordon hating arguments in the family about how he is better than Boruc, hopefully people see why now. Quality keeper. The 04/05 season was his best but this season with Celtic is looking great. Anyone remember his triple save vs Prague ?

 

Still early on, but if he keeps going the way he is, stays injury free, he'll be one superb goalkeeper for us. Actually, the way it's going he already IS an excellent 'keeper for us.

Could very well be a massively shrewd deal by selling Forster for £10m and getting Gordon for free.

 

Excellent signing guy is quality probably one of my favourites in the squad he is vocal and commands the air in his box. His one hand save from a one on one last night was top class really really good save

 

Craig Gordon is a sexy beast.

I will admit there is something about this guy, I thought replacing Forster straight away might be tricky but nope Gordon just had to come in and play amazing.

He may not get near the clean sheet record anytime soon but if he keeps saving us in games like he is at the moment, he could very easily become one of our greatest keepers.

 

I´m getting to the point where I´m starting to take a top class keeper for granted. For far too long we neglected this, really happy we´ve learned our lesson.

 

Unbelievable business, we get £10m for FF and get a better GK for nothing. Maybe the best deal ever. Craig Gordon is without doubt the best Scottish goalkeeper of his generation.

 

i said it when he signed he will go on to be a better keeper than Foster.

 

i know he still has 2 years with option of a third but IMO we shoould be giving him a 3/4 year deal right now. I wont imagine he'll be on the highest wage because it was a risk signing him ( will be high obviously but not the highest anyway) because if he continues this form till the end of the season PL clubs will be sniffing about him.

 

He needs to get the finger out............................

 

If he didn't get injured for 2 years there he would probably be the best Scottish keeper ever.
