Directly sold their 3rd and indirectly sold their 2nd dropping an easy catch out for the corner that they won the penalty from.

We set up wrong that night. But of the 11 that got put out there he was the most individually responsible for what happened.

No he wasn’t. He didn’t give away a needless penalty for their second and he didn’t fail to track his runner for their third.

He * up a nothing cross to cause the corner for the 2nd and palmed a long shot down to Omrani for their 3rd*

He didn’t give away a penalty though, and the Omrani’s market didn’t track him well enough. Can’t expect a goalie to hold on to every single shot. Watch it back and you’ll see how much of a headstart Omrani has on his marker.

I think this really shows what the manager thinks of Bain. Bain started off well but went down hill once he conceded his first few.

Neil Lennon reckons Craig Gordon should still be No.1 for Scotland even if he’s not playing for Celtic.

The 37-year-old keeper was desperate to get out of his deal with the Hoops and play in the second half of the season, seeing
a serious chance to help Scotland reach the Euros.

But he was denied a January move by the Hoops, who need him as back-up to Fraser Forster with Scott Bain not 100 per cent fit.

Lennon said: “Craig Gordon is certainly good enough to be in the Scotland squad.

Even if he’s not playing for us every week, that would be my opinion. I see him every day, he’s an outstanding trainer and outstanding
professional. Whether he’s playing regularly or not, he’s still more than good enough to be in the squad.

“It was an awkward decision for us – from the club’s point of view we don’t want to let him go but from a human side I can totally understand where he’s coming from at the minute.

“The club’s stance is we want him here.

It’s hard for a keeper, it’s an individual position, I understand where he’s coming from. But he’s training great and he looks great, though Fraser is our No.1.”

Good to see bain back on the bench at the weekend. Hopefully that's the last we'll have had to see of Gordon

I'd put him on the bench for the diets next week though..

Always good to catch a still of him when a goal goes in against his mob..

Celtic are searching for a new goalkeeper after Craig Gordon tried in vain to secure a last-gasp January transfer, Football Insidercan reveal.

The 37-year-old told the Hoops hierarchy he wanted to quit for Hearts after Football Insider exclusively broke the news last week that his former club were trying to sign him

A Celtic source has told Football Insiderthat the club have no plans to offer Gordon an extension to his contract, which expires at the end of the season.

Recruitment chief Nicky Hammond has been instructed to start looking for a new senior keeper to replace Gordon in the summer.

Celtic face the prospect of needing two new arrivals in the key position as Fraser Forster is due to return to parent club Southampton when his loan expires.

The giant Englishman has been outstanding in his second spell at the club and is the undisputed number one.

Gordon has been his understudy for most of the campaign but has been a notable absentee from the Hoops matchday squad for the last two matches, since the transfer window shut.

Fit-again Scott Bain, who has missed virtually the entire season after dislocating a finger in August, was on the bench against Hamilton at the weekend.

Gordon may have played his last game for Celtic after reigniting his career with his move in 2014.

He has made 242 appearances for the club and be an integral figure in the triple treble triumph that will go down in the annals of Scottish football.

Forster, Bain and Hazard would be more than enough for our GK's come summer imo.

For me, ideal to get shot of both Bain and Gordon and bring in Lewis from Sheep and keep big FF.

was watching highlights of Cup Final win over the sheep..

Granted it was a few years ago but Gordon had some great saves. I think he can still play at this level but maybe not with Celtic.

We NEED to sign Big Fraz.. we have the money in the bank but who ever judges a football club by their financial records ( well apart from the judge that looks at criminal activity of clubs that cheat the taxman )

Gordon was a great move for us at the time but now its time to move on , for both him and us.
