  1. Cant blame them. Beer is a pound a pint, * are 2 quid odds for 20, and the women are unbelievable

  2. Hope he hasn't told Tony that. :smiley-laughing002:

  5. I'm like a lot of ye,
Great signing if it is as back up keeper..
A direct replacement for Forster and I'll be gutted!

  6. Not happy with this at all

  7. the manager never gets the final say on signings anyway, hope ronny had a say but no too fussed. all the best to him

  8. 2 years out and at 31 it is a fairly big "if" that Gordon can get back to his best. At least if it doesn't work out then Celtic haven't spent much. He was a superb keeper once. Fingers crossed.

  9. I think he will go before August is out if Gordon shines in training. His star will never be higher than now after being in the England WC squad.(regardless of their performance)
I think he will be snapped up for the EPL by some decent club and we will make a decent profit!

His contract is half way through the 4 years, is that right? If he leaves next year with one year on it left, he will be in the driving seat and we will definitely lose out.

I have always thought Gordon was top class, and at 31, he is no age for retirement being a goalie. He could shine for 7 or 8 years no problem!

Gordon has stated many times recently that he has ambitions to reclaim no1 spot in the nation team, so if he believes he can recapture his form and woods believes he can then this could turn out to be a smashing signing.

Remember the old adage "form is temporary, class is forever"? Think this may well apply here?

Exactly - Christ I'd move to Poland, if only it paid decent money to work there haha.
May start doing what a lot of Poles do, work here for 6 months, then * off to Poland and live the life of luxury for the next 6 months.

I've heard that Celtic have been planning this transfer since 2006.
We didn't like the sound of £9million, so PL set up the Sunderland switch a year later, built the guy up no end, then got him to feign an injury. The last two years he has been living off of a EBT style bank account, and told to go * on Sevco for a year.

Now we have signed a world class goalkeeper for * all, and right in his prime.

  11. I wonder if this is a pay as you play deal, if it is then there's no way celtic can lose here. I don't understand how people think this is a bad signing.

  12. I've never heard any 2 year contract on a pay-as-you-play basis.

Looks ten times better - and happier in green and white than that over picture!

  14. Demba Ba had a 3 year pay as you play contract at west ham:50:

  15. Welcome :bbpd:

  16. A sevco target says it all!!!!!

As I've said before he's pish and even when people thought he was good he was still pish!

This guy hasn't kicked a ball in 2 seasons he better be back up or even 3rd choice simple as that certainly not a ronny signing either! Glad it's for * all even though I'm not glad at all!

  17. Aye ok:56:

You're talking pish with that one.
Not impressed with the transfer myself, will get behind him if he can/has overcome injury issues.
But to claim he was always pish is just daft mate. Guy was outstanding when he got his move to Sunderland and was playing regular for Scotland.
