Hes done us well but im done with him. He needs replaced. Never a fit for a team trying to play out from the back.

 

Wonder what Gordon's save percentage is.

It really is shocking how bad he is in those scenarios. Keepers can't save every penalty but I'd expect them to be able to save 1 or 2 out of every 10.

 

Well done. Penalties are shots on goal. They are also penalties - very specific types of shots on goal with a big strategic and psychological aspect which players and goalies train very specifically for. A good shot stopper won't necessarily be good at saving penalties. A good goal scorer won't necessarily be good at taking them. Gordon made some great saves in the Salzburg game. Shame he gifted them a goal though.

He’s just such a dislikeable guy.

Never ever has the look of someone accountable for his own actions. You can just tell inside he would look to blame someone else or has some sort of superiority complex about him.

He also looks like the * guy that shows up to 5s every week wearing joggers and a Star Wars t-shirt and can’t kick a ball properly

 

He saved one against the Huns in the shoot out. TBH it was straight at him

He invites pressure, when we should be cruising, his painfully slow inaccurate distribution gives opposing teams encouragement..

Don’t see how he can remain No1, Bain has barely put a foot wrong and we are much slicker with him in the side.

 

Rodgers seems to have a blind spot, in regards to Gordon. Bain's come in numerous times and performed well enough, only to be dropped for the next match.

I'd love to see Bain given a run in the team, but I can't see it ever happening.

 

BR looked raging the day tho and looked to be having a few choice words with SW hopefully a wee turning point..

He’s so slow it allows teams to get back into to shape and then press us effectively, BR must see it..

 

Hope so. He's getting worse and worse. Teams will take advantage of it.
