We really needed him at the top of his game - and even then it would not have been enough

He lost a few easy goals but some others he could do nothing about. Can't believe there were PSG players standing unmarked in our box

The thing about CB is, we have a couple. Despite both being injury prone.

I don’t think we have a goalkeeper. Certainly not one that should be playing in the Champions League.

Aye I’m starting to agree with you, if we can get both then great, but Gordon needs to go.

Sadly DDV contract just got extended. I think this is a clear sign the team have no plans to replace Gordon

DDV is spending the majority of his time coaching here now, I wouldn't read too much into him signing a contract extension.

Vorm is 3rd choice at Spurs, yes he's 32 but he's exactly what Rodgers likes in a keeper, another option for me is Danny Ward from Liverpool young, Welsh international and very highly rated

Their 4th, 5th and 6th goals can't be totally blamed on Gordon. All three of those goals were caused by their players being totally unmarked in the box.

Thought he should have done better with their first goal.

He'd be the perfect solution if he were 32, he's 34.

Which in itself doesn't rule him out but his age starts to become a factor.

Aye didn't realise he was that old tbh, was amazed Brendan never took him here last summer considering he's the perfect keeper for us

Whatever Craig Gordon has gone through in the past with his injuries, I believe, has had a major psychological impact on the way he functions in his role, within the team.
Mentally, that assertiveness required to consistently command his area is lacking, which puts tremendous pressure on the defenders in front of him, never knowing if he is going to come out and take the ball or not.

One of the problems I am picking up on, is communication between him and the defence. CG has to shout and organise the players who are in front of him - by being assertive. Not seeing this at all which is concerning. The 6 yard area becomes a free for all at times. The defence do not seem to have much talking going on either and this could stem from CG not being prominently involved.

CG has been good for us, no question, but he does not make his presence felt in the areas he should be commanding, and all mistakes are being scrutinized further. It may be that it is time for CG to step back and go into coaching and help our future goalkeepers.

Thing with Vorm is he hasn't played regularly for a few years so there's no guarantee he'dbe as good as before. Personally think we'd be better off looking to Germany/Poland as they seem to consistently produce good keepers.

32 is nothing for a keeper. You've just got to accept theres zero sell on fee. Id take a punt on him. Gordon looses to many goals at the near post, personally think the eqauliser should have been saved. In fact use his foot, he'd easily get to it instead of diving. Its a thing i notice with deGea of utd. Uses his feet for close ones rather than diving. Your feets already down there. Go get it.

Better than 1 season wonder Fraser Forster, go and check out the EPL for confirmation.

Holy Goalie is best I've saw, Ghord second.
