You'll be hard pressed to find a goalkeeper who doesn't * up every now and then

I think everyone can * up, even Messi. What I mean is, mistakes that happen on a semi-regular basis.

Another clean sheet last night, made a couple of good saves when called upon, also think his distribution has improved.

Hope Brendan has drilled it into him, DO NOT be coming up with them kung-fu kicks he likes so much.
This ref will be itching to send him off or give a pen.

Played well today, made some big saves. Still prone to coming out for a ball that is never his, but got away with it. Good way to celebrate his birthday

Ever since he got dropped and then brought back in he's been solid. A couple of silly moments charging outside the box but other than that, quality.

His brave block from that cross when 1-0 down was crucial. Took the ball and full force of Waghorn but didn't care. Great performance.

He should have caught that cross for their first. Bar that he played very well.

I thought he was excellent today. So safe with his hands. No rebounds at all.

I get the points made about coming for balls I'd just like to counter with a couple of things.

It's quite clear that Brendan wants football. And looking at the way Gordon was put out of the starting X1 earlier in the season, if you're not doing what you're told to do you will most likely be dropped. I suspect that goes for anywhere on the pitch.
So, Craig has worked his bollox off. I've watched a few of this seasons gk training drills & there is a huge focus on ball at feet & he has now taken his kicking game up to a whole new level. Not bad for a 34 year old to be adapting so brilliantly. Brendan wants him to play high in the box which will lead to times where he will need to leave the box to clear. His ball work has improved quicker as he will get the ball to feet a lot during a game whereas coming from the box won't happen very often, so he now needs to work on his decision making & identifying when the ideal time to come & when to stay. He has shown a willingness to improve. I would expect this to improve for him too with time.

Just in my own opinion I think saying he should've got the cross is very harsh.

We've been very lucky with our last three long term keepers, I have no doubt O'Neill would have achieved more with a better gk. I thought Hedman would be the one but that didn't work out.
We have a good keeper, long may he stay.
    Happy birthday big man.
