I think Bellamy should come up here for a year help us win the league and go on a run in europe and then join Cardiff next summer when they're in a better financial position and maybe even in the epl.

 

My friend has just messaged me to say that he has opted for Cardiff instead and I see they are now discussing on Sky Sports. So looks like he will be returning to Wales.

Celtic were very close though imo. The deal appears to have been agreed with Man City but Bellamy looks to have put his family first. Which would concur with Reid's comments earlier about where players want to play. Fair play to the lad.

People have the right to change their mind (aka Mo Johnston). As of Thursday night Celtic were very close but it appears Bellamy has had a change of heart over the weekend and relishes the opportunity to promote Cardiff's quest for the Premier League but more importantly will be close to his family.

I have messaged my friend back for clarification on the update. However looks like we will finish a close second unfortunately.

sky sports have just said cardiff link was a complete falsehood including the training rumours as confirmed by dave jones.

From the latest reports i think were the favorites, we supposedly have agreed a deal with Man city, nobody else has, Lennon knows him well, and has spoke to him, he has played here before and loved it. He knows his best chance of winning something is here, and he knows hes going to be idolised, all we need to do now is get lenny on the phone to his family and get them to move up here and then we will be sorted (fingers crossed)

You know it sounds like his family is the key here and if they would be willing to move to Glasgow, then yes I totally agree our chances would very much improve.
