guys in anyone listening to talk sport, only reason i ask is because my da is a truck driver listens to talk sport all day, he just text me saying a loan deal for cardiff is closebto being a done deal?

Cardiff will not be able to afford him, media are just putting going for easy story with cardiff, hes training with them so therefore he going to be signing for them, Spurs is probably a non starter imo as I dont see Man City selling to another EPL team and its not as if they need the money

I think we are 'still in the mix' Lenny said this on Saturday that's good enough for me till i hear different. SkySpurts and the English media on a whole are ignoring the Celtic interest.....They would rather see a player of Bellamy's quality stay in English football....Even if that's with a Welsh side.

 

It does seem strange that Cardiff City are in for Belamy, it's well documented that Cardiff were in serious financially problems two ot three months ago, so how can they afford Craig Belamy ? Perhaps Man City are funding the greater part of his wages, I also don't doubt for one minute that Belamy's love of Cardiff City is a major factor too, but the financially implications must be worrying for Cardiff.

 

Harry Rednapp said on TV at the weekend that he had contacted City but they weren't interested in selling the player to Spurs....as far as he was concerned that was it. Unless Man City's stance has changed since the weekend, that rules out Spurs.

 

Man City have told Bellamy NOT to appear at the training ground again according to SkySpurts News. Maybe Bellamy being a Cardiff boy is willing to take a drastic wage cut to help his hometown club out.....I wouldn't put that past him being the type of guy he is. I would prefer he came here for a season or two and then went to his hometown club though.

 

This is a great mystery transfer story.

Cardiff have appeared to be in pole position since wild speculation yesterday, although their forums are not as bullish as last night. However Sky Sports News have just confirmed that there has been no contact between Man City and Cardiff.

Spurs are surely least likely unless Man City are mad enough to shoot themselves in the foot by selling a player now with a bone of contention with Man City to a major rival......to save money. The potential problem here though is that reports continue that this is Bellamy's preferred destination.

Fulham would be the most boring option, no trophies, mid table oblivion. Will be surprised if that excites Bellamy unless he purely wants biggish money. Although Fulham are definitely interested.

Celtic are surely the other main contenders, various reports say a deal has been agreed with Man City but the Cardiff speculation appears to have scuppered this.

The latest clubs to be linked are Sunderland and Newcastle, so Craig certainly has plenty of options.

What seems certain is that confirmation will be sooner rather than later. Cardiff City fans were convinced earlier that they would have a 1200 press conference confirming his signature. So if true, we will be put out of our misery shortly.

 

Guy on Sky Sports said Cardiff have said they have made no contact with Man City or vice versa, its all coming from the Welsh press.
